Where be that .gif from that episode of Good Times?
I originally wrote it as "That Good Tiimes .gif, but realized that would easily be misread.

If the stubborn f***s over at WWE would've capitalized on him earlier they could've gotten a lot more out of him. Honestly, I really wish they would have let the win at Night of Champions go through, and they could have let him at least have a short run with the belt before this whole fiasco.

It just really sucks. That's all I can say. I just want him to get 100% healthy no matter how long it takes.

I'm starting to think he won't be back, period.

I suppose the silver lining here is that he'll still have that underdog momentum going for him in full force upon return. He never actually lost the title, and that makes another title chase more interesting and sympathetic than it perhaps could have been.

That sucks. But this is also the reason that they can't wait around to push Reigns or whoever else. You can't hold a spot for a dude when you have no clue when he'll be back. Yep, I know it's been reported they want Reigns vs Lesnar at Mania, but with Bryan's injury perhaps they scratch that and have Seth vs Dean vs Reigns for the WWE Title. And Lesnar gets a big time match against someone else, perhaps The Beast vs Bray. This way they've got all The Shield members even more established in case Bryan has to call it a career. Can't agree enough. IMO, a Shield triple threat main event will make those three as stars for WWE for years, especially if it's something like a long-delayed Rollins MITB cash-in plus Reigns coming in as champion plus Ambrose winning the Rumble (or the last two reversed), since that would be a way for all three to have a huge accomplishment going in. And, well, WWE will desperately need all three of them to be top-tier stars, because there is only so much more blood you can draw from the rocks that are Cena and Orton.

Hopefully he will take his time in recovering. If he tries to speed up a return date, he could do more unnecessary damage. This should be a great year for him, with getting married and having his Wrestlemania moment, but unfortunate injury and his father's recent passing tarnish it a bit.

I can't even imagine the roller coaster of emotions DB has been through this year. Poor guy

If the stubborn f***s over at WWE would've capitalized on him earlier they could've gotten a lot more out of him. I agree. WM30 was a perfect "moment", but the fact is that dragging their feet with Bryan with the idea of "garnering sympathy" and "making him more over" when he was already more over than everyone else only served to waste his time.

Dude needs all the time off he can get. I have to believe that a lot of this was brought on by his hectic schedule last year, sometimes twice a night or more. Other than the neck (which is just years of wear and tear), all of this is hold over from his days on the indies by his own admission. He destroyed his body, never took the time off and never got the problems fixed. All WWE is doing is fixing it. Oh, I totally agree that a lot of the wear and tear IS from his time in the indys, however it certainly didn't help having him compete as often as he did as he had in the last year. Even if someone is fully healthy, having him go at the pace he did, so often is going to speed up the nagging issues he's dealt with in the past. I think as it stands...this is just disappointing news.

You know, at least we can say he went out on top if this ends up being the end of his career. He had an amazing run, one many of us never thought possible. And while we might not get matches against Lesnar and others in the future, his health is the most important thing. Rushing back or pushing through injuries gets people dead or barely mobile (give Cena a few years and he'll be in the same boat, trust me) so I'm glad he's not being stupid about this.

Damn, what if this ends up being like Shawn Michaels, he takes 4 years or so off and comes back better than ever.

Damn, what if this ends up being like Shawn Michaels, he takes 4 years or so off and comes back better than ever. This would seem to be more legitimately career threatening than Shawn's. I.E. there's no speculation that this isn't true.

I can't say this definitively, but I always thought that HBK's back injury was while definitely real, was really overblown so that he could collect his Lloyd's of London Insurance policy and/or get clean.

Damn, what if this ends up being like Shawn Michaels, he takes 4 years or so off and comes back better than ever. I really hope so but we're dealing with neck issues here. Bryan's style is going to drastically change especially for a guy who loves wrestling and that's all he cares about career-wise.

He really is Bad Luck Bryan. This sucks so hard. Even when he is better, it's gonna impact his career still. With Bryan's career probably being cut a bit short and if Punk never returns at all, things aren't looking good for WWE. Sure, we have Roman Reigns but I get the feeling his push is gonna backfire badly.
