At least this won't be another round of, "well he's just chasing rings".
If he was doing that he'd be getting ready to announce for Houston or Chicago in a few hours. Which I still think were the best options, and Phoenix, btw.

When you are as desperate for a winner as Cleveland is. They will do everything, and I don't totally blame. But you just know if Lebron says he's going back to Miami that this will just be added to the long long LONG list of Cleveland sports disappointments. The fans may be rubes for acting like they did, but they do deserve something good happening to them.

LeBron James is going to move to the sport of baseball to try to do better than Jordan in some respect.

If he goes back, Dan Gilbert's letter looks even more pissy&foolish.

Deadspin posted a Cleveland shirt yesterday that said something like: FOR6IVENESS The Kingdom is Rebuilt. That's just embarrassing. It is sad, embarassing and desperate. But I understand it. Cleveland has been in sports hell for a very long time. The fans are selling their souls for a chance to finally win something but they have The Miz lol

The Heatles are breaking up. Does this make LeBron's wife the NBA's Yoko Ono? Don't know about that. Never liked the name Heatles personally. I thought they were the nWo or they should be called the hWo (Heat World Order). Makes sense. LeBron is Hogan, because he wants control. Wade is Hall because both their better days are behind them. Bosh is Nash because they're both brittle. And they sound nearly the same. And Spoelstra is Bischoff. Because they're both named Eric.

And all the people who burned his jersey welcome he and his ring back with open arms. I saw an article earlier today about how they plan to rename one of their park's roller coasters after him, and I just said "Do they NOT remember that dramatic bullcrap of a few years ago?" *sigh*

The imagery would be hilarious.

As I said in the NBA thread, IF LeBron goes home, I think a big issue was that he didn't have as much fun as he thought he would playing in Miami. I may be way off base but just based on bits that have come out, I get the impression that LeBron (and Bosh to an extent) thought that teaming up with Wade would make the game as easy as games for Team USA were (when they started talking about the possibility of teaming up).
I also don't think Bosh opted out to see what LeBron would do (if it turns out LeBron goes to the Cavs) I'm pretty sure a guy as tuned in to the internet as him knew that the talk was about using him to get other pieces.

I don't give a f*** if LeBron comes back and wins us a title, because of this woefully overlooked fact: The Cleveland Gladiators are a shoo-in to win the Arena Football League Championship!

Source? I can't find this reported anywhere but this board. Pretty sure it's all bullshit, these reporters and their sources are making wrestling newz guys seem like they have a clue. Here's an idea, no one is going to care if you scoop the story, so just wait until LeBron makes his announcement and then report on that.

And all the people who burned his jersey welcome he and his ring back with open arms. The ashes will be used as the powder he throws in the air during the pregame.

Wasn't the word on the street to is that after Melo and Lebron gets signed, Bosh will become the most sought after free agent. But yeah, I agree with you. Lebron kept going on about how when he signed with the Heat, he did so so he wouldn't have to carry a team again. At first it didn't seem like that would happen but then Wade's injuries caught up with him quicker than anyone could predict. To the very least his tenure in Miami did improve his game into actually being a consistent player in all 4 Quarters. All those "LeChoke" memes died pretty quickly.
