Isn't it getting beaten by Cops reruns? I doubt they'd renew that. I think you're seriously underestimating the ratings draw of Cops and Cops reruns. It's in it's 27th season. I can guarantee you Cops is the the #1 watched show in prison and it airs before lights out. Spike can go to an all COPS format and bring in that sweet inmate demographic.

Spike can go to an all COPS format and bring in that sweet inmate demographic. It's a captive audience!

They will renew. Lower price is likely why they are negotiating so long. They also likely have a CRA(continuing resolution) clause in the event both sides express intrest in renewal but can't agree on details. If they do, the show would be on a short term show by show deal to keep it on until they get a new deal. Do NOTknow if they do or don't just speculating.

The biggest problem that TNA has at the moment is that it's not even cracking the top 100 in its main demographic.

I think they renew it. While it isn't a ratings juggernaut, it's still one of the higher rated shows on Spike and has a consistent audience for the most part. There's only so many times you can air COPS reruns.

The biggest problem that TNA has at the moment is that it's not even cracking the top 100 in its main demographic. That's the answer! They need to change their main demographic. They could possibly be Top 10 if their main demographic was 49 year old women named Dixie.

The way I see it, you get a million viewers a week, and something on there could generate some huge publicity thing, some hot new angle that brings in more viewers. Could happen.

The way I see it, you get a million viewers a week, and something on there could generate some huge publicity thing, some hot new angle that brings in more viewers. Could happen. They been on prime time for two hours since 2006. Nothing TNA has done draw a 2.0 which I would thought by now would been a rating they should been getting. The talent roster over the years has never been a problem. You have to remember that this company I don't think can make the angle to do what you think, if they could it happen by now. As long as they keep putting guys like Big John is power who is a tough enough producer but because he worked for the WWE makes him qualified to be the head of talent relations make zero sense.Guess on creative who done nothing worth a crap in over a decade now it not going to happen unless the whole team backstage is overhauled with people who have new fresh ideas and knows what today wrestle fans want instead of thinking it still 1999 and we need a million face and heel turns. TNA problem is keep talent that fans care about. I mean does TNA look as appealing in a few months when Angle leaves, Hardy, and Bully Ray once there contract is up? I doubt any of them will take a pay cut and none of them would have a problem with getting jobs. I sure being that he been clean Hardy would be welcome back in the WWE for a last run and a hall of fame deal. Angle could retire or get a legends deal for the hall of fame. Bully Ray could go back and get the Dudleys in there hall of fame. Plus a lot of talent may be looking at GFW as a possible maybe make more money and see what Jarrett does if he gets a TV deal. TNA is having a lot of issues I mean, there tapping months worth of stuff in two days. What is there next step after the next NY tapping is done? I mean do they have a place set up for tapings. As a Spike TV person I would question if TNA the company is even safe enough for an investment that they be in business next year. That my question about TNA.

I would hope/think Dixie is crapping her pants right now just wondering if TNA is gonna be picked up or not.
I just want to see her face when Spike doesn't and decides to hire another wrestling company. Just put TCW on National TV.

There's only so many times you can air COPS reruns. Yeah. I'm a little surprised this poll is so close. I'm sure TNA will promote it huge when they renew - absolutely right they should do - but it'd surprise me massively more if they didn't, for sure.
