Nash said he wasn't going to retire because he wants to be paid the final year of his contract. He knows he's done. I can't blame him, that's a lot of money for sitting on the sidelines all season. He'd be a fool to retire and give that up.

You know, as a Dallas fan I love Nash and what he brought to the team. A big part of me wishes he was with us in 2006(If he were there I believe that championship would've been won by Dallas). With that said, I believe he can still contribute and if he came to Dallas to finish his career, San Antonio, or even New York as a back-up point guard he could definitely give those teams a spark. However, if he's getting injured by carrying bags, that is a sign that it's time for him to let it go. No thanks. We like our chemistry just the way it is. We're winners and we don't need an aging former star coming in to take a talented backup PG's spot.

From the sounds of things he needs to retire, however, realistically speaking I believe he can contribute still.

People are arguing online if Allen Iverson or Steve Nash is better.
Iverson stellar like what 5 years compared to Nash's really good 15 or so?
But everyone is saying AI anyway.

The Sacramento Kings are officially breaking ground on our new arena next Wednesday!
Demolition is wrapping up and we should expect to see the first signs of building vertically in early 2015. The arena is on schedule to open up on my birthday October 7th 2016.

Whatever happened to it?

Nash is a thousand times better, and AI doesn't even belong in the same conversation as him. Literally the only reason people rate AI so highly is because of points, which he accumulated by taking an ungodly amount of shots and accomplishing horrible efficiency in the process. Allen Iverson's best year doesn't come close to Nash's entire career in Phoenix, or even someone like Chris Paul's worst year.

Iverson isn't anywhere near Nash.
Nash is among the best point guards to never win a ring. Yes I know he sucked something awful defensively, but still!

When it rains, it pours for the Thunder. Anthony Morrow is going to miss 4-6 weeks due to a sprained MCL......
Thunder will be damn lucky to even be anywhere near .500 before Durant and Morrow return.

Sacramento Kings: Sasha Grey (who?) Pretty fitting that a team based near the home of porn is supported by one of porn's biggest names.

Steve Nash was a transcendent basketball player on offense and those mid-2000s Phoenix Suns teams helped revolutionize the way the game was played on the offensive end, even if they never raised a banner in the process. Because of his offense alone, Nash is a top-10 all-time point guard. But his defense was so impossibly putrid that it cannot be ignored when looking back on his career. His defense was so horrid that it was obnoxiously noticeable, as though the Suns might have been better off with four men on defense while Nash hovered at half-court waiting for the ball.
And enough of this "Nash or Allen Iverson" talk. Remember, the real debate is "Allen Iverson or Jamal Crawford?"

It's weird seeing the owners of the team listed for some of those "biggest celebrity fans" like Mark Cuban and Michael Jordan.
Also, Macklemoore being a fan of the Utah Jazz is hilariously appropriate.
