ImpactWrestling.comSeems a good sign for the TNA/SPIKE relationship. So want him to go in as champ and be tapped out. Also {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} Guess this explains King Mo being at the NYC shows too.

I was about to say, how does TNA cover it up if their monster heel World champion gets tapped out in like a minute or something?

Or Lashley is making back-up plans in case the Spike TV deal falls through.

I was about to say, how does TNA cover it up if their monster heel World champion gets tapped out in like a minute or something? They just won't acknowledge it. Or they'll just say that he was out of his element. He didn't lose in a TNA/pro wrestling ring so it doesn't matter. The inverse applies if a champion MMA fighter is booked to lose a wrestling match.

I agree. But, they should show us the inverse as well. I want Corral or whoever to come on Impact and get arm dragged and drop toe holded into oblivion and pinned in a minute by Eric Young.

Hard to say if this means anything in regards to Spike/TNA, I'm guessing that Burns is a tomato can anyways.

Kinda hard to ignore something they are already hyping or say that Lashely is out of his element when he has a better record than the guy he's facing.

f*** what division is he fighting in? He's a small heavyweight in my opinion, should be better at 205. This is TNA playing Russian roulette, if their champion gets exposed on national tv it could be fatal, this reminds of when Dr Death got knocked out by Bart Gunn and Doc's career ended.

Ugh, now he'll never go away, plus TNA could lose their world champ at any time if Bellator decides to pull him. What a stupid move on TNA's part, especially since they had problems with Strikeforce the last time he was around.
And really, why haven't they figured out that the TNA/Bellator thing just hasn't worked? King Mo looked like a chump, Tito/Rampage ate up a ridiculous amount of time for a fight that ended up not happening...

If I were them, I would make sure his first match with them would occur after BFG, forget that Sep. 5 stuff. So that he can lose the title at BFG and THEN get to tap out.

Won't mean anything
UFC is running a show in Connecticut on the same exact day at the same time, so not only is no one going to go to this show, no one's even gonna watch it on tv.
Especially since UFC is stacking their show even at the expense of their pay-per-view a week earlier. This is the main card for UFC Fight Night 50
Middleweight Ronaldo Souza vs. Gegard Mousasi Heavyweight Alistair Overeem vs. Ben Rothwell Heavyweight Matt Mitrione vs. Derrick Lewis Lightweight Joe Lauzon vs. Michael Chiesa Featherweight Sean Soriano vs. Andre Fili

I'm just worried that Lashley might lose his credibility if he loses, especially in a flash knockout or something. Mixed Martial Arts is so unpredictable. TNA better have a back up plan.

This Josh Burns guy is such an obvious can. Thing is, Lashley has lost to obvious cans before.

So, Lashley is facing a guy who looks like someone force fed Giant Bernard steroids instead of hamburgers and lost his last fight by "Retirement" whatever the heck that means.
Put all the money on Burns.

Wait hold on he's not facing King Mo on the card? I thought that's what the reports said, well that's something I guess

Put all the money on Burns. Pretty sure that "retirement" means that the dude wouldn't come out for the next round. I'm predicting that Lashley wins via spear somehow. Also: if Lashley loses Burns needs to be TNA a Champ. Title is up for grabs, bitches.

That's what I thought...but it happened in the middle of a round. At 2:14 in the first round. I mean, wouldn't that be a verbal submission? I don't even know. I...don't even know. But still...all the money on Burns.

Hmm...I guess that Burns said " screw you guys I'm going home!" and left the cage. That's what I choose to believe anyways.
