Was the Joe vs Punk match in ROH?
Since I haven't seen the aforementioned match, I'll go with HBK vs HHH vs Benoit @ WM 20.

Was the Joe vs Punk match in ROH? Since I haven't seen the aforementioned match, I'll go with HBK vs HHH vs Benoit @ WM 20. Yes, it was Joe vs. Punk II in fact. 60 minute draw that had the crowd marking out for REST HOLDS. Randy Orton should view this match.

Joe/Punk 2, WWE and TNA weren't putting out great matches that year,IMO.
Pretty much got away from WWE for a few months, and turned to ROH which had some awesome s*** such as the aforementioned Joe/Punk match.

Wait, matches for 2004, and you don't list AMW vs. Triple X in the steel cage, losers must split up?
Joe/Punk II wins, anyway (though a good argument could be made for Joe/Punk III, as well), but Joe vs. Dragon isn't far off.
