I saw Joanie Lauer on a VH1 commericial for the Surreal Life fame game or something like that. and I saw something on VH1 were she was Trying to get into a night club.......and they turned her down.
She has become an utter trainwreck, looking like she constantly strung out. and I'm sure she curious why she isn't famous anymore. than I got to thinking
"Hey, Why don't you go back to wrestling again?"
I mean honestly, I'm pretty sure if she wanted to be on TNA, they would be able to get her there. I'm sure if she went she would probably be able to get back into shape and be healthy. and than who knows maybe than she'll be able to get into a night club again

They tried to bring her in once, but she made too many demands and they told her to go to hell.
Besides, she is probably too rusty and out of shape, and there is no womens division for her in TNA. And there is no way that she should be wrestling men, that went out when she first slimmed down after Playboy.

I can see them starting a womens' division after the second hour starts, then there could be a spot for her. But she would have to get her act together first. Who wants to deal with a demanding, strung-out diva?

The big question is would the fans even WANT her?
I never thought she was all that special, as there are female wrestlers that are 20x as talented and 100000000x better looking than her.

I think Joanie should get back into wrestling. If they boo her, be a heel then. Just start in some indies, I'm pretty sure her name would bring some people in. She should try to slowly build herself back up.
I think it would be best for her to get back into wrestling anyway. She used to be a mega star, and an inspiration to people. Now, she's just a washed up celebrity that appears in shows on VH1 with other washed up celebrities.

TNA needs to get away from digging up these burn-outs and build their own identity. Anymore they look like WWE Saturday Night.

Plus the Sirelda debacle should be enough to tell them the fans don't want this, even if Laurer did get in shape again.

Thats cause Sirelda was an ugly nobody but funny enuff I tought at the time they should have contacted Joannie for the Sirelda spot, 'Ohhhh you have a female manager so we are gona equalize the situation by bringing in some random manly but not that strong looking woman as ours' is not nearly as cool as 'We are gona bring the woaman that took Jarret's IC Championship!'

They are in no way similar other than both being ugly and manly looking, Sirelda was a nobody even as far as female indies go and didnt even looked particularly threatening Chyna was one of the most recogniced and marked for females in the WWE not that long ago. Dont get me wrong, id much rather have neither of em but she would have been a million times bether than sirelda on that role.

No one told her to live that lifestyle, much less continue it after wrestling. But she's seen that people watch when she acts like a train wreck -- so she'll keep doing that no matter what. Only thing we can hope is that it doesn't end in an early grave.

I feel sorry for Joanie Laurer. She had such potential. She was different from the other "divas" - she could have made her own niche. Plus, her boyfriend dumps her for the boss's daughter - what chance did she have in the company after that?
OTOH, she brought some of the problems she's having now on herself.
I think that TNA could help her, but she would have to do a lot before she goes there. 1. She has to get clean and sober, and get back in shape. 2. She has to get humble and work indy shows to get back to performance shape. She's not a major star anymore, and she's not "Hollywood material". 3. She has to find a way to recover from the One Night in Chyna debacle. This one is going to be difficult.
Joanie should look at Tammy Sytch as an inspiration. She cleaned up her act, she's working on getting back into physical shape (while she's not in "Sunny shape" or even "WCW shape", she's lost a LOT of weight), and she's working indy shows to get back to performance shape.
