To me, honestly, two big things. One is that it's not available in Canada. Two is that honestly, I don't care about wrestling enough to want to watch old matches and documentaries on its history. I'm more of a "watch raw and make fun of it with people here" guy. I care about PPVs, but watching those on a movie theatre with friends tends to be more fun than at home, so even that isn't really a big thing for me.
I guess if Raw and Smackdown were aired live(or just raw--you know what I mean) I'd get it because being able to watch those on my phone would be pretty nice, especially considering how much I travel,. As it is, I think it's too expensive for what I'd be getting out of it.
...Also the not being in Canada thing, that kind of stops me from doing it anyway.

I want old weekly TV's from the 80s and 90s (Superstars, Wrestling Challenge and Prime Time,) and more house shows. Clash of the Champions was a great addition but I busted through those quite fast. I don't really like how some of the house shows aren't complete either.

I'd like to add that I don't care about original music being dubbed over. That happens for maybe a minute during introductions and at the end of the match and has no bearing at all on the match itself. the only time it would really matter is during New Jack matches and I really don't want to watch that many of those anyway

This will probably sound weird to some, but I want the old jobber shows. Pure nostalgia for me.

2. If possible (not joking here) put up copies of Raw and Nitro from that contains original commercials. I'd get a giant nostalgia kick from that. I know they don't owe the rights to that but I'd enjoy watching it. They sort of did this already. There was a few Monday Night Raws from late 1994 and early 1995 that had Slim Jim commercials with Diesel and Bam Bam Bigelo. I'm talking about all the commercials not just the ones featuring wrestlers Granted I know this probably is not possible and I know that even if it were not all, probably very few people would like it, but I know I would. I'd love to watch Starbursts ads from 1997 on an old Nitro.

I'd like to see an analysis show. Get someone who knows psychology and the actual name of wrestling shows to go through some random match from Raw (Some Titus O'Neil squash for all I care) and explain who their offense got them the win. Lean into the 'real' of it.
"See, DDTs were move that finished matches routinely in the 80s. They still finish matches today, but so many people use them and use them without technique. Look at Titus here. He is literally relying on his power and power alone. He's got great power, and it's definitely what got him to the dance that is the WWE but if he ever wants to get into title contention instead of being half of a tag team, which he obviously dislikes because he wants the spotlight, he'll need to learn technique. He grabs the head and drags his opponent to the ground, but they're able to roll with the move because he hasn't properly grabbed the front headlock."
Yes. Weird kayfabe explanations for botches. Explaining how different strategies cause awkward moments. I want someone to just do that.
I'd also like to see some more promo related stuff. If they've got down time before the shows, get some promos. Get some guys some experience talking. Let them talk about random stuff. I want to know Big E's reaction to Weird Al'S Tacky. I don't know why. Just GIVE IT TO ME.
Give Santino his comedy show. Heck. Have a "pilot" season where midcarders come up with an idea and then the WWENetwork Fans vote on what show they want.
I'd like to see the old Colosseum Video collection. Come on, WWE. I can't find my tape that has The Undertaker vs. Kwang the Ninja and some days I daggone want to watch that.

I have VHS tapes, DVD's, and portable hard drives full of PPV's and matches. I personally bought and taped every PPV (WWF, NWA/WCW, and ECW) from 1990 (when I got my own VCR) until 2001. I have tapes starting in the mid-70's, have random matches on hard drives, and I can watch them uncut, as they aired whenever.
I LOVE wrestling. Always have, always will. I have interest in NXT, I want to watch it, but I have to ask myself, as someone with very little spare time and who only makes 21K per year and has regular bills to pay, can I afford the expense and find time to watch to justify it?
Then, as a guy who loves the (admittedly carny) history of wrestling, pays attention and appreciates it, but who is constantly reminded that I'm not the target demo, and am a "basement dwelling smark nerd" by promoters, I find it hard to keep shelling out cash, no matter how reasonable the price tag might be.

They should show some matches or 'Network exclusives' like they did when ever they did a house show at MSG in the 80s and early 90s.

I just get enough wrestling from other sources. There's three hours of Raw every monday, Two hours of Impact, Two hours of Smackdown, an Hour of NXT plus the indies to keep up on. Why would I need even MORE wrestling? I've got a full time job and other interests, where would I find the time?

Well, I'm mainly here because I like cracking jokes on this board and roasting bad wrestling shows with many of the fine people I've met on this board. Neither of which requires the Network, haha. Then why bother going to the Network Subforum just to troll it? This subforum should be Member's Only. I've got my colorz.

They could pace this stuff better. I know we're living in an age where most people want to have it fast, ready and yesterday, but geez oh man, treat it like a weekly series. "Oh look, we got Clash of the Champions! Here's all 30 shows!" No, one or two a week would have been fine with me.
They go all out on Old School for a couple of weeks, and nothing new has been offered for months. Same with World Class and ECW shows.
Aside from PPV and a small handful of Old School shows, where the heck is Gorilla Monsoon, beloved announcer? Get some of these Prime Time shows on, pronto! I loved the dynamic between Gorilla and Bobby Heenan, and it's really disappointing there isn't more episodes of them out there as of yet.

Not a dealbreaker or anything but I wish it had some of the Colosseum video extras like Macho man's post wedding segment
Still love it though

I wouldn't say I'm disappointed in the Network. As it's $10, so it's not like I'm expecting it to give me sexual favors or anything.
But there are definite flaws.
- The player is horrible, if you try to skip ahead it ends up crashing. Even the most shady porn sites have more stable video players than WWE. - Most things are out of order and random, like episodes of RAW, WCCW etc. - There's no real chaptering or bookmarking. If I stop watching a movie on Netflix half way through, it will start playing where you left off the next time i watch it. On the network you have to fast forward everytime. - Also on Netflix, if you're watching a series, it will automatically play the episodes in order right after each other. Why can't I just have all of 1998 WWE PPV's just play right after each other? - Search function makes no sense. - Not being able to watch the RAWs or Nitros that led up to a PPV.

I have a shitload of old tapes/dvd's of everything and rarely watch any of the old ppv's on the network, but I happily pay 9.99 a month for NXT and the monthly ppv's...people bitch too much.

The Network's not officially available here yet, but there are ways to get it, so I guess this thread applies to me as well. It's mostly what lots of you have already stated: I have all the classics I want in my collection and the current product isn't good enough to justify the monthly fee. Another thing would be my lack of interest in the original programing (save for NXT and Countdown).
