I read about a wrestler in California's Incredibly Strange Wrestling called El Pollo Diablo, so I came up with a lucha name like it. I was planning to change it every once in a while to other lucha-like names (El Pollo Cibernetico, El Pollo Satanico, El Pollo Mysterio, etc) but decided to keep it.
It just rolls off the tongue.

My name when I first signed up was DanceMasterSpyke. "Dance Master" coming from the fact that I'm told I'm good at dancing. "Spyke" comes from my freshman year in high school when some of the upper-classmen called me "Spike" because apparently I looked like Spike from Land Before Time (never seen the movie). I changed the "I" to a "Y" when I started playing games online, and it just stuck.
Spyke Johannson is my current EWT character, and my wrestling alter-ego (well, if I were a wrestler).

Ahh the very long overdue fable of my name...
The year is 1999, I just watched Universal soldier the return. In it a character named "squid" won my admiration, probably due to his hair.
Soon after, Wrestlemania 2000 comes out for 64. My first created wresler was named "Squid" due to the above statement.
War zone or attitude came out and I again created "squid" this time however, they had announcers and call names. The call name I picked was "Daddy Mack", So I just swiched that around and sicne then I have used Mac Daddy Squid for everything that requires a user name.

Jeritron 5000 is the HDTV Jericho proclaimed as being always "obscenely expensive." I have liked the Jeritron 5000 anytime when Jericho shilled it...always GOLD.
As for Dorf, its a play on my last name...mainly for being my nickname in high school. Oh, I am not a midget.

I started off as "wooooooo" (always remember there is 7 o's) since I was/am/will always be a Ric Flair fan. After going through a bunch of forgettable names, I've stuck with Texas Tornado. It's my tribute to the late Kerry Von Erich. And since I'm from Texas, figured it'd all go together. Plus I'm a big fan of the Tornado Punch and the resulting overselling of the punch.

Thomas Rigby is actually the protagonist in a trilogy of screenplays that I've written. He's essentially the biggest bad-ass of all time and makes John McClane look like Clay Aiken by comparison. I've actually been writing for this character for about six years now, as the Rigby character (as portrayed by a close friend of mine who is a stage actor) enjoyed a very nice run in a live sketch comedy/drama show that I've been writing for. Rigby pretty much qualifies as one of my best friends considering that I've been living with the ol' guy for so long. Maybe someday I'll post the character's entire history on here.
Excellent topic, btw.

I used to be Samsanov316 for a long time, after the Bruins player Sergei Samsonov (yes, it's misspelled; by the time I found that out, I had already created a bunch of sn's with it) and added the 316 to mimic the trend everyone had in the late 90's of making a sign that said something like "Frank 3:16" or "Mildred 3:16". When Samsonov was traded to the Oilers, it didn't bother me much. But when he signed with the Canadiens, that was too much; I can't have a Hab as my sn. So I changed it.
As for Duke Davis, I have a feeling people are going to find out that name soon enough, or at least, anyone who watches the Angry Nintendo Nerd (since he's gonna do his next episode on the Power Glove). There was this game for the NES called Bad Street Brawler, a total piece of crap game designed for the Power Glove, with the protagonist named Duke Davis, a former punk rocker and the world's coolest martial arts vigilante (taken verbatim from the manual). He wore yellow short shorts, a yellow tanktop and sunglasses; in other words, the 1990 definition of cool.
So I took that name, and now that's kind of become my psuedonym, since my birth name isn't very marketable if I ever become famous.

My name comes from my favorite character in the seminal graphic novel WATCHMEN: Rorschach. The character of Rorschach, in the story, is investigating the death of fellow "hero" The Comedian, who was murdered by a mysterious opponent. Whist on this case, Rorschach stumbles upon an even greater mystery.... Why did I pick Rorschach out of a lineup that includes so many great characters? I guess it's because, in a weird way, he speaks to me. His take no prisoners, balls out, "I'd just as soon smack the gobshite outta you as look at you" attitude, along with his cool head and intelligent demeanor, endeared the character to me almost as soon as he shows up in the story. Below is one of the covers of that comic series. Beneath that is the man from whom I take my name.......

wow, you guys made my story look dumb by comparison... Not at all....each story is unique. And yours has been my personal highlight, as I've long wondered from whence it orginated. My first guess was that you were ex-NAVY, since we get called "squid" a lot.

Too many variations on it to really tell one complete story, but, the latest incarnation is a reference to how Gary "Bababooey" Dell'Abate botched pronouncing "Machine" in a spelling bee on the Stern show the other day.

Kitsune is a fox spirit from Japanese mythology, and is also their word for any fox at all (for which I used to have the fox avatar, until the webspace it was stored on got deleted.) the > CM Punk part came about just because I was sick of people pushing him down my throat as if he was the second coming of the second coming. When someone else annoys me to high hell, That person/wrestler will end up in the name

"oldtrusty" was the first internet nickname I started using back in '97. When I found out I was getting the internet, I decided I needed a cool handle. During English class, we were watching Radio Flyer (which I had seen about a dozen times when I was younger on premium cable), so I picked the name after I was laughing (and freaking classmates out) during the scene where the dad whips the kid with the electric cord. The electric cord was called "old trusty" in the movie.

My name came about one night when my buddies and I were playing baseball. My friend is good at just making things up that are funny. And I kept striking out and eventually he just started saying "It's okay PrimeTyme your doing great" And then I got up to bat and he started to chant PrimeTyme, the name stuck around for about a month before we went back to my original nickname of Toad, but I have since used PrimeTyme for SN's and MSN.
Yeah it's lame.
