Johnny Cash kicks all kinds of ass. I wasn't into him when I was younger...but my tastes have matured and I've stopped liking crappy music. Well, that's opinion anyway...but I grew out of some music. Anywho, Johnny Cash is awesome. Anybody that doesn't like Johnny Cash is a dirty o' egg sucking dog and deserves to be shot in Reno, so someone can watch them die. [/tworandomcashlyrics]

Ah, well, the fact that I blurted out a seemingly random restaurant joke is probably due to the fact that I'm hungry

EVERYTHING. Is there even a second wave ska? Hah...I've pretty much ALWAYS heard 1st and 3rd wave discussed, and I know bands from each...but I've never even heard of second wave ska, ever. I just thought maybe it was some sort of strange numbering system. I'm also stupid though, so yeah. Nah dude, second wave was huge, probably even more popular in the mainstream than 3rd Wave. The Specials owned the charts in Britian back in late 70s and early 80s. And I highly reccomend any and all second wave. The Specials, the English Beat, The Body Snatchers, The selector, Madness, ect. were all phenominal. Infact, get space mountain in here, her probably knows alot more about it then i do.

Yeah Second Wave Pwns all, but mostly cause of the English beat and Madness. theirs a really good movie called Dance Craze where it shows a lot of 2-tone(second wave) bands. 2-tone bands really set up the scene for the 3rd wave bands more than old school rocksteady and Dub. Nowadays if you are looking for that sort of feel, those bands specialize themselves in keeping that style. back on topic. 2-tone bands are very odd though. its an acquired taste (except for the english beat which is one of the only bands i just bought the record and sat and listened to and enjoyed). but if your intrested go to thespecials.com cause they have an entire history about 2-tone cause terry hall( or jerry dahmer) started the label and it went under with the new wave explosion. most trad bands and 2-tone revival bands are hard to come by. bands like Let's Go Bowling, Bad Manners, The Scofflaws have broken up, but Bands liek the toasters are still kickin and they are heavily influenced by madness. Personally, i usually rock the Reggae/rocksteady sounds more than 3rd wave, but that's cause i'm leet . but its cause most 3rd wave bands get the feeling of them being stupid. The Slackers are a great band of combining all styles of Ska music. sorry, my internet was out when this topic came out. and kudos for Tmiz for bringing up second wave anyway, heres me at with an east coast ska legend again......Skankin' Richard

Me and two of me girlies, from a recent party. God, my face looks huge, red, and drunk. Well, "huge" is subjective, but "red and drunk" are entirely accurate. P.S. - dont tell the girl on the left that I'm currently seeing two other girls alongside her. I mean, she's not my girlfriend, but, well...um... awkwardness.
