Seriously, one of the cutest pictures I' ve seen on this forum, and I include my cats in them. And I don' t know why, but I think that having her birthday on Halloween makes her sure to become awesome. And you... really look like a doting father. ;D

I spend a lot of time with her, when I'm not working. Although I'm the "bad cop" of the family, I do end up bending on things I shouldn't (damnit!). And thanks for the compliments on her. She is getting so tall so quickly, that she's starting to become all leg. Scares the hell outta me. Every day for the last month she's been asking about her birthday. When we ask her what she wants, she says "Tinkerbell!" So we're getting her a Tinkerbell costume to dress up in when she goes trick or treating.

You could always adopt. ;D I hear that raising a girl is easier than raising a boy, but we're not quite ready to test that theory. All I know is she's not wearing a pull-up to bed anymore (!!!!), and if she feels a little insecure she knows to put one on all by herself. She makes me really proud.

I don' t know how it is in the U.S. ( or wherever you live ), but in France, you can' t adopt without being married, and I believe you can' t if you' re single either, even if you' ve been married before ( divorced, widow(er), ... ). So no girlfriend = no adoption anyway. And when the kid asks me "how do you do babies ?" I want to have an experience in order to make sure I don' t say anything wrong. ;D

Ah, good point. I do not know the in's-and-out's of adoption in the US, so there's a good chance you're right.
By the way, I love the pics of those two lucha-cats.

Sorry for taking this off topic, but my sig is from a graphic novel series called Transmetropolitan. Official website at www.transmetropolitan.com/. Thanks, dude. I hope it is published in France, or at least in the English-speaking bookshops ( there' s a few of them in my area that import English-speaking books that usually aren' t published in my country ).
