I watch because it's the best damn wrestling product on the planet and if you don't believe that **** you and everyone who loves you! I also can't find the remote and have nothing else to do when it's on.

WWE is like my physically abusive partner. I know its not good for me at times but I've become used to it and am now too afraid to leave and find something else to watch. I ran into a door after watching WWE. Stop defending WWE & stop lying, WWE got drunk again, right? It's not your fault!

I've been watching WWE/WWF since I was a little kid in the early 1990's.
So I'm basically a WWE "lifer". No sense in quitting now. Besides, it's been far worse before and I still watched (like in 1995, and around 2008-9).

I have been watching WWE full-time since 1999, before then I was more of a WCW fan, but I always kept my eye on the WWF. There were times after the Invasion that I came close to stop watching the shows and I actually did for a few months after Katie Vick. I primarily enjoyed SmackDown in 2003 and I watched RAW out of pure habit most nights for a while. I hated the HHH era so much and his matches during that time sucked ass for a while. I have now watched WWE non-stop since January 2003 and I have never liked TNA enough to watch it on a regular basis. I made it through the McMahon challenging God episode, the CB situation in 2007, and the Guest Host era on RAW from 2009 to 2011. If that didn't make me stop watching, then I probably never will again. I always will have hope that something great will come along and I am very excited with the extremely talented young wrestlers on the roster today.

If I had cable I'd watch Raw/Smackdown because it is on tv. I have network so I watch PPVs
Thats pretty much it.
Oh yeah...I don't have cable, so the only weekly wrestling i watch is ROH

If I hadn't joined this forum, I genuinely doubt I'd still be watching. I love coming here and talking/joking about this shit with you guys. Pretty much this. I watch the people that interest me and hang out on the board the rest of the time.

I'm addicted to it these days honestly, but it doesn't disappoint me anywhere near as much as it disappoints some on here.

This is a phenomenon I find very interesting, since in my life I've never had trouble walking away from any wrestling company once I wasn't enjoying it (e.g. WWF circa late 94, WCW circa 2000, WWF again in 2005, TNA at various times, ROH circa 2010, etc.). I keep abreast of what's happening in wrestling, sure, but that's because I think it's a very interesting thing to talk about, but I've never comprehended making time to watch it if I found it really boring or hard to watch. I began watching wrestling in late 1990/early 1991 as a five year old, but it's just never been an issue for me.
But it's so interesting to see how this happens with some folks, since wrestling is such a unique product and viewing experience; it's a way of watching that just doesn't exist with regular TV shows, since they have such limited shelf lives, and doesn't exist so much with real sports since even if your favorite team sucks it's still not a predetermined outcome and you can watch a down organization rebuild itself, etc.
THEN it's fascinating to see how things have shifted since 2001 or so; how WWE is now "default" wrestling for so many people, and how any company that doesn't present itself in the same way gets held to a different level of scrutiny.

There's always a match or segment or two that entertain me.
That said, I couldn't tell you the last time I watched a full show without bailing for an hour or two.
Luckily they show enough damn recaps, and don't do anything interesting unless it's near the top of the hour, you'll see whatever you missed while watching Netflix etc.

Well, I am a pro wrestling fan. I really enjoy watching a solid pro wrestling match. It is almost an art form to me and I have grown to both appreciate it and suspend my disbelief. It is really weird. During the Miz/Ziggler match, I somehow found myself thinking "this is a really good match" and "come on Dolph, you got this!" I find multiple pleasures in watching wrestling matches. And honestly, WWE tends to put on amazing matches nowadays. The in ring performances are just that good. I also enjoy stories and while that lacks from time to time, there are always enough good performers to make me care about the storyline. Sure, I criticize a lot that happens. It could be a lot better. But when you enjoy something and love it this much, I know I will always keep watching even when I know it will never be perfect.

As angry as I sometimes get with the WWE, at the end of the day I remember that over the course of my 25 years of watching, much more often than not, the product has entertained me/brought me joy

There's usually something that I think is worth watching, I just fast-forward through the bits that don't interest me. There have been quite a few times over the past year or so that I've skipped most of the show, mostly when The Authority were at their worst in autumn(ish) of last year. On the other hand I love NXT and watch nearly all of it.
That said being WWE is a part of it, I've given up on WCW and TNA in the past for similar things, I guess the difference is WWE have built-up the goodwill over the years and I still often feel that there's something good on the horizon.

I watch because, as others have said, it's enjoyable even if I think they're making bad booking choices or just choices in general. Plus, after almost 20 years of watching, I literally have no idea what the hell else is worth watching on Monday nights.

If it wasn't for this forum, I would have quit watching a while ago. I've already given up on watching pretty much on everything that isn't Raw or NXT.

Because wwe can coast off it's legacy. They can put the absolute worst garbage ever, and people will still watch just because of the company logo at the bottom of the screen. If wcw were still around, it'd be the same deal. In fact, that kind of was when you consider the fact that they still had an audience during russo's run.

I watch if I enjoy it, I have taken several breaks from several promotions for various lengths of time, sometimes quitting promotions entirely.
WWE has lucked out though, every time I am about to quit, something just interesting enough keeps me around. For example, Battleground sucked pretty hard, and Raw hasn't been that exciting to me, but I do want to see Lesnar beat Cena for the belt so I'm sticking around to see that.
Matter of fact, literally the night of Punk's pipebomb I was ready to take a very long break for a while, but just as I was turning off the show (Cena was wrestling Kofi or something) Punk came out, cut that promor, and I was more excited than I had been since the 2006 ECW revival's initial excitement.

I watch because I want to know what was on the photos Babydoll used to blackmail Dusty...on all seriousness I still watch it because I want to feel the way I did before the Benoit tragedy. Wow this feels like an AA meeting.

I watch because I love wrestling and it's the most accessible wrestling to watch. If TNA was actually good, I'd never bother with WWE.
