Stars are made on WWE stage. CM Punk would not be CM Punk of today if he had stayed in TNA even if they did the exact same thing with him WWE did. Same goes for everyone else. And I don't know what's the fuss about Ambrose anyway.

Yup. Either that or they'd paint him as a second rate Mr. Anderson, but Shaw was my gut reaction too.

He would've been Sangriento and Curry Man already, and would have made a brief comeback as Raisha Saeed during a dark match...

The funny part is that when Dean gets to the main event TNA will release his match, making it look as if they discover him. I don't remember Generico in TNA, they also didn't hired Cabana, even though the whole roster went to Terry Taylor and put him over, even Ed Ferrara (at the time part of creative) liked him. TNA the company that misses the boat on Colt, Generico, Dean, CM Punk, and gives us Gunner. A couple things here: - Jon Moxley tried out for TNA in 2008, while Gunner was brought in in 2010. Those are two completely different eras. - People forget that Phil Shatter (Gunner's Indy name) was, at one point in time, a big deal prospect. Hell, he was almost signed to the WWE in the summer of 2008. He wasn't always an Internet punchline. - Yes, I agree that TNA screwed up by not bringing in the likes of El Generico and Colt Cabana. But to say "you passed on these guys in order to get Gunner and Crimson, lol" isn't entirely fair. It's like claiming the WWE passed on Ricochet just so they can push Mojo Rawley. - By bringing out the old "lolTNA" remark, we're forgetting the people the company actually took a chance on and succeeded with, like Austin Aries.

Actually Mox also tried out during 2010 in his dragon gate-evolve era, that was the one I was referring to, Mox wasn't a huge star in 08, I think he was just returning from Puerto Rico, he actually took a year off from wrestling. I agree with you that Gunner might've been a great prospect, I don't know much about his Phil Shatner days, but from reading his Wikipedia, he sounds a better character than Gunner. Crimson was never deserving of the spot he got. You forgot to mention that they fired Aries in 2007 it wasn't like they gave him a chance at first, it took him almost 4 years to return. I was just taking a jab at tna because they passed on Dean, Cabana, and Generico, but I would be stupid not to acknowledge that they gave major players their first big chance: AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Rtruth, and James Storm, just to name a few.

He wouldn't just look homeless, he'd be living his gimmick.

Best thing to ever happen to him is that he didn't.... Same goes for Bryan, Cesaro, Rollins, Kenta, even supposed signings like Steen and Devitt. I think the release of guys like Styles and Daniels really soured some indy guys on going to TNA. Sure, Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards went there, but as you saw from the interview posted a few days ago, the guy's completely delusional. Which is basically what you have to be to go to TNA, completely out of your mind.

He would've taken the Hostage Taking Bird hostage.

They'd have given him a babyface push up the card, the fans would be super hot for him, then he would turn heel for absolutely no reason and the fans would stop giving a f*** about anything he did.

He'd debut as Jonathan B Good. And he'd hit people with a guitar then do the Honky Tonk Man Elvis Dance.

At least he'd likely still be Jon Moxley.

At least he'd likely still be Jon Moxley. They'd likely still want to own his ring name, but even if they didn't, you can bet they'd probably neuter him still.

Look at what they did with Desmond Wolfe and Bad Influence. Talent doesn't matter.

He would have lasted 6 months, maybe a year, but eventually he would have left to go back to the indies or wind up in WWE anyway.
The real question is, if Moxley went to TNA, would have there been a Shield? Who would have been the third man?

Yea and it was great and TNA could have ridden the Wolfe train and he was ready to be the guy. And then Hogan showed up. And it was over.
