Actually having Tom Kenny (voice of Spongebob and countless others) approach and have a friendly chat with some friends and I at San Diego Comic Con a few years back. Also to a lesser extent at the same con sharing a "metal salute" with another voice actor Candi Milo.

When I was in London a few years back, I almost literally bumped into Mark Addy, who played Robert Baratheon in Game of Thrones. It was at the breakfast buffet, and he had to ask for scrambled eggs because they'd run out.
And I just scuttled back to my table with my huge plate of eggs <___<

Only ones I have are, I guess you'd say celebs. I sat and did an interview with former ESPN anchor Dan Patrick when I was in high school, great guy. Also, got to interview/spend time with Archie Griffin who was just classy as hell. Oh, bumped into Juwan Howard in the JFK airport. Super nice guy, sat and talked college sports with me for like 20 minutes.

Jerry Only and Dez Cadena before a misfits show, we stood around talking about old horror films and their collections of films, Jerry cooked burgers on a little grill and gave me one of them. they were trying to watch the giants game but got no reception I was able to pull it up on my phone, so now im hanging in the Misfits Winnebago as me, Jerry and Dez are watching football on my phone while Robo slept in the back. pretty cool time.
Jason David Frank was mega mega talkative and very energetic seems mega mega cool talking about power rangers and very awesome to everybody.
ran into CM Punk as me and my friends were leaving a con, him and Lita where there, and we just waived at him and said "hey" didnt come up to him just waived and kept walking, it was the last day of the con and Punk walks up to us and goes "hey, you guys leaving?" and we say yeah, and he goes "do you mind if we take your passes?" and we go "yeah thats cool" and punk goes "ya want a photo and an autograph or something?" and we take a group photo with him and send them on their way to the con entrance (there was like an hour left of it)
I went to see Amanda Palmer a number of years ago, and waited outside to meet her, she was so super super awesome and very cool with signing stuff and taking photos...and then out of nowhere she brings us a surprise Neil Gaiman!! I marked the f*** out and he was so so damn charming and awesome to talk to, he was really cool taking photos with people who knew who he was.
Liam Gallagher was cool to hang outside of the venue I saw beady eye at signing autographs for everybody waiting before the show, security tried to get him to come in and he yelled "f*** soundcheck, we would just delay things a few minutes, these f***ers been waitin hours and im not bout to let em down!"

I met Sean Patrick Flanery from the Boondock Saints at a bar and he was hella chill, he let my buddy take a picture with him.
I've met numerous Sacramento Kings and other NBA players and for the most part they were all cool. Chris Webber was especially awesome and Mike Bibby was really quiet.
I met Patrick Willis of the 49ers and my dad got to talking to him about his car. We also met the owner of the 49ers Jed York that day. I've met quite a few 49ers and all of them were great.
Ken Shamrock was cool and RVD might be the nicest guy I've ever met.

Not really interesting stories, but here are the celebrities I've met.
I met David Beckham outside a football ground. Nicest guy on the planet, seriously.
It was when he was playing for Man United and injured. We were leaving the ground and saw him leaving too (along with a few hundred other people) Rather than hop in his car and make an escape before the crowd got there, he stood happily for an hour signing autographs and posing for photographs and chatting with people. Great guy.
Also met Sean Bean outside Sheffield United's ground. Another great guy whose perfectly happy to have a chat with people, psoe for photos, sign autographs etc. Apparently he used to just sit in the regular stadium with the regular fans rather than having a private box because he enjoyed the atmosphere which is pretty cool.
Finally, at download festival I bumped into the fat bassist from Bowling For Soup walking around. Another nice guy, I didn't have a photo or anything but I said hi to him and said I was looking forward to seeing them tomorrow (this was the day before they were going to play0 he gave me the goofiest grin in the world like he was over the moon at the thought of someone wanting to see his band and the thumbs up. I read on the download forum that everybodies encounter with him during the festival was positive and he was just a regular, chilled out, funny guy.

Met Chris Jericho randomly in the smallest and tailgate party during the 2010 Grey Cup. Seriously it was just my friends family on one side and Fozzy on the other. Super nice guy. Then I had some friends a year later who went to a bar in Fort Mac and randomly found Chris Jericho getting wasted and he bought all my friends shots for recognizing who he was.

The one time I remember him doing something interesting is a story my local paper ran where him and Iman Shumpert (local boy) were throwing muffins at some other Knick in the locker room. (Because f*** it, why not?) That's...something.

I was working at a party at Russell Peters house years ago , saw many celebs there . John Witherspoon walked outside the tent area close to the area we were standing to talk on his phone ( Im guessing due to reception problems ) , after he was done on his phone , one of my co workers told I loved your character in wayans brothers - John went into character for a couple of mins for our enjoyment - before he went back to the party- he shook all our hands , you boys have great night. Also Tim Robbins was there, Someone bet me $20 to yell out ," hey andy dufrane " I did , he turned around chuckling & said " get busy living "
I once saw indian actress Aishwariya Rai in front of me in line for customs at JFK airport , she was told she would have to open her bags she told the guy " do you know who I am " he said no maam , she turned to me and said in hindi " this guy is so mean I cant belive they are looking through my stuff , when they could be looking for real criminals , then she said i hope you speak hindi " I said yes i do & I woulndt have looked through your stuff miss Rai , & that i was a fan of work - she said thanks , & asked whats my favorite movie - I told her and she laughed , I hated filming that one because the co star was such a pain to work , the whole conversation lasted 3 mins- I couldnt belive I spoke to one of the most gorgeous women in the wotld

In 1984 I was staying in a hotel just south of San Francisco. When I went down to the pool, I got a table next to Sgt Slaughter and Cpl Kirchner. Sitting in the hot tub were Tony Garea and Jesse Ventura. Paul Orndorff and Kurt Hennig were both in the coffee shop when I went to get breakfast. I talked to them all and they were all really cool.
In about 1986, there was a Dr Who convention in New Brunswick, NJ. While waiting for a showing of Shada to start, Lalla Ward (Romana) sat down next to me and we chatted for about five minutes. She was beautiful and charming and a delight to be near.

My best friend growing up's lil brother was best friends with the now lead singer of 3 doors down. So I have known Brad since hell he was 10.
Met Clive Barker at a con years and years ago. I think Nightbreed was coming out soon. He bummed a cig off me. Then asked me where the smoking area was. Ended up getting to talk to him for about 15 minutes as he chain smoked 3 cigs. Really nice guy who has a super quiet voice.
About 3 months after he first appeared on WWF tv I ran into Mark Henry at a Waffle House in Texas. Got to talk to him for about 5 minutes.
But my favorite,I got to meet Jack Kirby about 1 1/2 years before he passed away. One of the nicest comic book creators I have ever met.

I've served Jools Holland four times in three different jobs. Complete arsewipe on every single occasion.
Served Rik Mayall, John Hannah, Ian McKellen, and Simon Pegg across several of my jobs over the years. Class acts.
Randomly met Jared Leto in London. Super nice guy.
Brian May and Alan Lee (conceptual designer on Peter Jackson's Tolkien films) are/were regular visitors to my home town as they live locally, and are always super friendly.

Didn't go over after I recognised him though, as he wsa eating with his family, and you hear so many stories about celebs having their meals interrupted by idiots.

That's good, no one likes to be bugged with family, I imagine. It's kind of funny, for the longest time, I was wondering where I knew him from on Still Standing. Figured it was Knight's Tale, but that no, that's too obvious. Then I remembered, oh yeah, Thin Blue Line was a fun show! That said, haven't seen it in like 12 years.

See, I like hearing the good stuff just as much as the bad. Maybe more. Glad people have had some really good experiences here, and it's very cool when celebrities go that extra mile. I don't think I'd have the stamina for it.

When I was 16, I had just got into music journalism and my first ever interview was with Bloodhound Gang. I expected them to be assholes to me, but they were some of the nicest guys I've ever met. They offered me anything I wanted from their rider (including some illegal shit!) but being straight edge at the time I declined. They talked for ages off the tiniest of questions, took nothing seriously, and basically are partially responsible for my still being a freelancer in my spare time now. I don't know if they're douchier to other journalists and just sensed the nervousness in this gawky kid, or if they're just nice guys in general, but either way those guys have my eternal love and respect.
