Just got one from WWE in the guise of a newsletter telling me about all the great programming, live specials and all the devices the Network is on with a small note at the bottom I had 30 days before they renew my subscription and if I don't want that, to turn off auto-renew. If I hadn't paid attention, I would have never seen that part. So I guess if you're still on the fence about renewing or not, keep a look out in your email for one of these things so you don't get caught by surprise.

I don't know how anyone in this day and age would sign up for a service like this and not realise "auto-renew" will always happen unless you specifically ask to stop it from happening.

The renewal section on mine is pretty visible right away....
Though they probably should have used a better subject becuase "Information about WWE Network" sounds like an ad.

I cancelled my auto-renewal but I still don't trust them to not auto-renew. Good thing I go through Paypal so I can just cut them off whenever I want.

The auto-renew is very easy to turn-off. I'm actually considering turning it back on because I am fairly certain I will keep the Network for the next sixth months. I will decide in February whether to go for round three and it largely depends on the price and availability of the PPVs. I have a strong feeling that starting around March of next year, WWE may either increase the price or stop airing all of the PPVs on the Network. Notice JBL has said recently, "You get SummerSlam! Survivor Series! And all the PPVS this year!" He said this more than once with the same wording, which to me shows that he has been instructed to say it this way. This tells me WWE is considering making changes to the PPV availability for next year.

I'm sure that they'll eventually try to charge or something for the PPVs, but how would they even go about selling that on TV? Cole: "If you subscribe or renew now, you'll have access to every PPV in history, except for the new ones that you'll have to pay extra for!" JBL: "Haha I love it. Paying an extra $10 a month for the current PPV's is too good of a deal to pass up, Maggle!" By starting with including the current PPVs in the package they've kind of screwed themselves IMO. People will be pissed if they somehow don't include them in the subscription price.

What they might start doing is offering a "PPV only" subscription or a cheaper version that doesn't have PPVs, then slowly raise the prices of the current package.

That's probably their best bet, I can't imagine anything else working. If I know the WWE they'll start inching the price up sooner rather than later.

I wouldn't be surprised if they spin off Wrestlemania and Summerslam (definitely Wrestlemania) as the old style PPVs. Too much money in Wrestlemania for just 10 bucks a month

Made extra sure to disable my auto renew when I signed up. Double checked just now to make sure. I'll probably renew, but work's been slow lately and I may not renew right away, especially since my expiration is after SummerSlam.

In terms of "you get all the PPVs this year" - I think they're referring to the new sign-up period (August 24th-February 23rd), where in that time span, you will get all the remaining PPVs in 2014. I don't think it qualifies them to suddenly take them off for 2015 - besides, it's difficult for them to go back to the old model anyway. Maybe WrestleMania only, not sure the DirecTVs and Dish Networks of the world even want Royal Rumble and SummerSlam.

I cancelled my auto-renewal but I still don't trust them to not auto-renew. I'm honestly the same way and I don't like feeling that. I'm half expecting them to default accounts to auto-renew a week before they run out and hoping nobody notices.

I'm not even looking for that email. Go ahead and renew me, Vince. I agree. While the constant shilling gets annoying, I enjoy the network. It's especially good when there's nothing interesting on TV.
