So the network's numbers are coming out Thursday. The question is how does the market react to the news. Predict the price. Its at 12.39 currently

If the numbers aren't at around 900,000, they will be deeply concerned. If they've dropped below the initial number, they will be in full-blown panic mode. The former will see the stock price go down, but not the dramatic drop we saw with the initial figure. If it's below the initial figure...well, they might wanna just take all the pones at Titan Towers off the hook.

WrestleMania was the big push to get people to subscribe and it still wasn't where they wanted it. When you consider all the people that have found ways to not pay every month, I think the actual subscriptions will be fairly low compared to what they're hoping for.

Oh, they won't touch the million mark, not a chance in hell (pun slightly intended). I'm merely saying that even a, roughly, 30% increase in domestic subscriptions, which would normally be a good thing, will still be below their initial selling point to investors, and will still see stocks take a (again, less dramatic then before) hit. I, sadly, could see them coming in below 800K, possibly substantially so, and that would be very bad. Worst case, still, is below initial numbers as that would be XFL levels of bad.

Yeah this seems like it's not going to turn out too well for them. We'll see Thursday, I guess.

Vince will be sitting with his writers now saying "OK, we need to dump more fake poop on people....that'll boost the numbers, right?"
And they'll all say "Yes sir, of course, what a great idea!!!"

if it drops too far it's going to be a great buy. I see a potential over-reaction creating decent opportunity.
Not GET OPRAH RICH style, but could be interesting

Will they give up on the Network, or do they have no choice but to ride it out and MAKE it work?

I'd assume that they have to make it work, since they pretty much told the PPV providers to get bent more or less. If they had to go back to the PPV model, I doubt that they get a very favorable deal if they were even brought back.

Last I heard the numbers were around 600,000 but I think that was either the last conference call or Meltzer news.
