I don't see why not unless the seller's asking price is way above what WWE thinks it should be.

It'll be a crazy move to start the Vince McMahon vs. Triple H angle before Hell in a Cell to do a proper TNA Invasion. Like imagine on SmackDown during the Reigns/Ambrose tag team match, Roode, MVP, Lashley, Joe, EC3 brutally assaults 4 WWE wrestlers in the ring under Triple H's watch and then the locker room aide the superstars. (This would've been a bad idea to turn SmackDown into Impact).
Another method is during the Survivor Series match, bunch of TNA wrestlers sit in the audience and brutally attack the WWE Superstars which the TNA/WWE all out brawl begins.
Although its not really happening yet (or at all), Vince would go for the library and trademarks.

WWE already has more than enough footage that's never going to make it to the network to need to bother.
Though considering how dirt cheap it apparently is, they might go ahead and snag it.

A big bonus for them would be making use of the footage of guys with some relevancy (Angle, Hardys, Dudleys, Christian) who the casual fans didn't follow once they were outside of WWE, and the fact that unlike every tape library they've purchased in the past all of TNA's tape library is in digital format, cutting the expensive and time-consuming cost of digitising it.

No, I really don't think there's a any value in having TNA's tape library. This isn't like WCW and (to a lesser extent) ECW, that has soe historic moments and matches. TNA never did anything to warrant praise or even acknowledgment for WWE. There's no historic TNA moment that people will remember in a decade or so.
And, I highly doubt Vince will buy TNA just to add to match discography's of guys like Sting or Kurt Angle. What's the benefit? Does WWE have video's of Bryan or Punk matches from ROH on their DVD'S? No, so why have Sting vs. AJ Styles in front of 1000 tourists?

Does WWE have video's of Bryan or Punk matches from ROH on their DVD'S? Well, no, because they don't own the footage, but Bryan's Mania documentary had some ROH clips in it and I've heard Punk's DVD did too. Plus they put random OVW matches on DVDs fairly often.

Plus a large chunk is in HD unlike everything else they have (minus their own footage of course). Getting the TNA library would be a huge plus for the Network.

I assume that WWE owns the footage of all OVW matches from the period that OVW was WWE's developmental territory. But if say a current OVW wrestler was signed by WWE, they wouldn't be able to readily access the footage of their work.

Sources indicate that the dollar amount being heard around Titan Tower is $9.99.

Sources indicate that the dollar amount being heard around Titan Tower is $9.99. Coincidentally, that's the amount of money left in TNA's bank account.

I think the fact that WWE put out "Best of Starrcade" proves they can do something with a tape library.

Except Starrcade did huge business in its day. A Starrcade DVD set targeted that large group of people who fondly remember being a fan during that era. TNA's fan following is much smaller in comparison. Plus, those TNA fans have already seen the shows.

With how cheap this is I'm actually considering buying it, no idea how I'd go about it though.
