I don't understand why they didn't provide a Canadian login for the stream - so if you subscribed on the Rogers Network you could also access the online stream via your Rogers provided account number and password meaning that you could watch the TV channel and the online service and for people outside the area the TV service covers could pay Rogers to have online only access. I see no logical reason why the same feed the world gets couldn't also be provided in Canada with the proviso the ONLY way to access it is though using your Rogers account details. It seems absurdly simple, straight forward and best for fans. Try to login to the Network online? Oh hey, you're in Canada, please provide your Rogers account number/passcode and we'll bring it right to you. It seems almost more complicated to do it the way they have. Rogers? Making things more complicated when they don't have to be? Get right out of town!

Videotron is claiming that the WWE Network will be free from February 25 to March 18. Remains to be seen if this is just them or if this is a general promotion. Source (in French)

So strange that Bell would be left out. At least I can finally get the damn thing, hope we get a decent version at some point with On Demand.

Yeah, I have Bell, just commited for 5 years too (They gave me free installation and free PVRs, and great deals on service prices so that I wouldn't jump to Videotron, which I wouldn't do anyway because I dislike their owner, but the threat works.)
Hope they hop on the train.

Wow, cool. I wish I'd have a confirmation from Bell that this is true... Is there a full online network, too? Or is this all we get?

Good! And I can confirm this is true, Bell users can go to channel 1446 right now and there's a static image announcing it.
Awesome.

So does Rogers allow you to subscribe so you can just watch online yet? Or do I need to be paying out my ass for cable first?

I actually just called Rogers and they told me I need a cable package and Anyplace TV before I can subscribe for the Network... f***ing Rogers, I'm telling you.
