That isn't what ruined Emma, and it isn't what will ruin Bailey either.

A small crowd that is always the same people will find themselves endeared to smaller acts, as they consider those acts to be "theirs".

That's why the Emma dance thing caught on down in NXT - sure the performer has to do with it too, but it's mostly the mentality that goes with having ALL shows in one place - eventually, everything catches on because there is no real alternative.

Same thing will happen to Bailey maybe... I mean, what kind of a gimmick is it that she is in awe of all of her peers? Eventually, the dust settles and it's like "hey, you're in the 'E now, why the hell are you always so stocked to see Goldust?!"

I'm pretty much over the idea of her as a member of the Wyatt Family. But I still like the idea of Dr Shelby assigning her to be Kane's "anger buddy" who has to remind him to hug it out every time he gets upset.

I think Bayley has more legs though then Emma did, at least with the gimmick. Emma, it is one of those NXT gimmicks that is ok, like, the dance was stupid to begin with, but it got over because of how stupid it was. Then when she was called up, she did the dance, and everyone who saw it thought it was stupid, and she wasn't on tv enough for it to be so bad, it's good. Bayley though, she's one of those people who could have incredible mass appeal. I think the vignettes of her marking out for everyone is a good way to start her out, like they did on NXT, and then build her as a more sympathetic character overtime.

Like, I think down the line, if Stephanie McMahon continues to be like, the final boss match for divas, they should build up to Bayley beating her. Like, have her be on the roster for awhile, and she's so happy and cute with everyone, and Stephanie just takes advantage of her and bullies her, and tries to take all that happiness out of her.
