Have a Sony bluray player, did the "network update" and the network app didn't show up.Anyone else have this problem?I'd say my player is about 3 years old.

I hate to say this but it is entirely possible that it just isn't compatible with your player. I just did a live chat with WWE support about my Samsung blu ray and it just isn't a supported player. It almost has to be a new player for it to work, which seems moronic.
The bigger problem for me is that my signal strength sucks. I get like 2 bars on my Sony blu ray in the living room, yet my wife's laptop gets the full 5 bars. I don't get it.

The format of the blu Ray network is really clunky. Especially if you want to go back a few years for a specific PPV you have to basically scroll back every year. Unless I'm missing something

The stream seems a little better picture wise than Roku but why on earth is there no resume watching button? Right now you have to watch stuff all the way through. My screen froze during Cena/Lesnar from Extreme Rules 2012 and I had to go back in and FF to the exact point again...and it was the main event.

So for those watching on your Sony blu-ray player, are you just going through the Sony Entertainment Network and clicking on the WWE App and signing in there? Or is there a quicker way? I haven't really used my blu-ray player before for things like the internet or netflicks. I just use it for blu-rays, so I'm a bit unfamiliar with other features.

Thanks for answering man.Yeah, after looking into it more,it doesn't work with any Sony models that were made before 2013,bullshit.

What sucks is that my Samsung is in the back room where all the modem/router stuff is so I hooked it directly in. I'd have perfect streaming capability back there, but I can't get the Network. My blu ray signal strength in the living room sucks. I'm glad it is a recent Sony that I got for Christmas last year though. Recent model.
