I don't like Eva Marie. It really grinds my gears that if you're not a standout talent, the only way to succeed is to be so bad that people find entertainment in mocking your awful performances. No one gets appreciated for being decent, solid, or pretty good. You just have to suck enough that people find it funny and cheer for you "ironically". Que? People have always appreciated good talent or solid talent. Ambrose, Ziggler, and you know, anybody who has a good gimmick or has good matches ever. We've also enjoyed awful shit ironically since forever, too. I mean this site has roots in Wrestle Crap, of course dumb shit like Eva Maria and Flat No is gonnna be enjoyable for being awful. |

I believe when they realized that no one in that storyline except for AJ could actually cut a decent promo, they backed off. ...though this doesn't explain Brie being opposite Steph right now, so I'm reaching a little on this. |

I actually do like Eva quite a bit. She's got a great backstory and actually does seem to have some raw charisma that a lot of the other divas that come and go don't really have. She knows she pisses people off and she knows how to exploit that. People don't wanna hear this but if she actually sticks with it and hangs around for a few years, she'll probably be the top star in the Diva's division. Not her fault WWE decided to throw her out there well before she's ready. Plus... She's banging' Well, there's that too.  |

Have a terrible match on NXT - defeat Champion. Absolutely gotta love WWE's decisions. I'm just imagining Vince and co. thinking she's absolutely an amazing heel when really, it's "you're simply awful" heat. Her match on NXT wasn't bad. I think that part was exaggerated by the reports. The crowd was fairly mean to her, but her Bayley match was decent enough. Plus, it gave us sexy Eva posing on a big cube. |

I mean, it wasn't amazing, but apart from a nasty roll-up, Eva had a match that was honestly no worse than the matches I've seen on RAW or Impact with Divas and Knockouts with years more experience than her. And I say that as someone who used to despise Eva and went into that match expecting the worst. On that note, from the looks of the TNA spoilers, Eva Marie green as goose-shit might just be as or better than Velvet Sky is ten years into the game. |

I've said it before but non-ironically, I want to see her to lose the hair dye and work with Enzo and Cass. I know she's not from Jersey, but it's the style that counts. That'd be an entertaining tag team, and who knows, working with Enzo might teach her a thing or two about doing promos too.
That'd give her something to do while she gets her wrestling chops. She has shown some ability to improve, so investing the time probably won't be a waste. Not going to say "She'll be the next Trish!" but when you've got someone on the roster, and can do something with them to harness their abilities, go for it. Nothing bad can come of it.
