Because its not so much their characters but their physical appearance that make them more relatable to us.

Your not But earth ponies are more relatable than unicorns or Pegasus It's the personality, not the physical appearance, that decides what I find relatable or not. For example, I don't find myself making doubles of myself appear, or inflating like a balloon, or making extra arms and/or legs appear out of nowhere. Or acting like I had 300 bags of sugar before appearing. |
