Dude needs to come back as a monster. Watching TLC 2012 makes me miss him.

I hope he comes back as Goldberg.
Seriously.

It is Ryback on Twitter, he could just be hungry and in the need of some Crackle Barrel. Looking at the pic, I'd be shocked if he wasn't trolling. FWIW, he's cleaned his Twitter again. Make of that what you will. That said, some time off sounds like just the thing to rejuvenate the Big Guy. Maybe he can come back and win a damn title, finally.

There was even a PS in that tweet:
Going away for a while to get some stuff fixed. Have not been myself for quite some time. Ps sorry punk…
Sorry Punk? CM Punk's got something to do with him taking some time off?

I'm worried about Axel. Ryback was pretty much the only reason people cared about him.

This is perfectly fine in this scenario: Michael Cole: Triple H, Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, and Corporate Kane are doing a number on Dean Ambrose. This is completely unfair, somebody's gotta stop this- FEED. ME. MORE. Michael Cole: IT'S RYBACK! And then Ryback kills everyone Somehow he STILL finds a way to get powerbomed.

PLEASE come back as "Feed Me More!" unstoppable babyface monster Ryback. So much wasted potential.

If he has a surprise return as a face to come back and wreck Authority shit, I'll immediately forget how horribly they f***ed up with him.

If he comes back as a babyface with the "FEED ME MORE" stuff, all is forgotten. Then McIntyre comes back as the Chosen One and all is well in the wrestling world.

Big.... Big Guy Out?
But I actually prefer his whole "O'Doyle Rules!" Big Guy gimmick these days as opposed to the unstoppable monster.

Maybe he'll return as white hot as he was during the Punk feud. If not, just hotter than he is now. Ryback's got the "it factor" and they can do a lot with him. I could see him being a good challenger to Lesnar, just in a "maybe, maybe... damn, just short", since you know people would lose their shit if he hit Lesnar with the meathook lariat and some other hope spots. Brock can sell, and while know he'd lose, it'd probably capture fan imaginations still. Brock would still win and demolish him, but he'd get his licks in.

They could even give him a legitimate beef with the Authority by saying that they've misused him and "dropped the ball", so to speak. Given all the times they've thrown him into Shield beat-downs as a pawn, I could see it working. "How many tables do you think I can go through before I think, gee, maybe they don't have my best interests in mind?" He also has a legitimate gripe with Heyman, in that being a Heyman guy did dick all for him, and that's an opinion he's expressed out of character as well, so there's a kernel to build from.

Man... we have so many discussions about how god damn over Ryback was, you don't remember just how much until you hear it again.

Man, I hope he isn't injured. I'll always enjoy the big guy. Like other have said though, hopefully it'll let him return as a face, build some momentum again.
