Guess Rocky wasn't scanned I think that's a bad angle. We'll have to see.

Could they not afford to scan The Rock and got Reggie Fils-Aime instead?

Good news for anyone with PS4! The newest update will allow players to play their own music through a USB stick. What this could mean for being able to use music for entrances is unknown, but it's a start. I believe Xbone's October update is adding that as well.

I'll try, I've noted down a lot & they're very random, I've tried to skip the bits we learned last week - You start at the Performance Centre where you complete objectives, then move on to NXT - My Career is all about decisions, these affect wether you'll be face or heel - Your popularity is determined by Twitter Followers - Matches have star ratings - Your gain VC & Skill points - VC allows your to buy moves, movesets & attires - VC is not real currency (you earn it & don't pay for it) - There's a huge amount of unlockables - OMG moments & Abilities can be brought - Universe Mode confirmed - Friends can upload their CAW's into your career & vice versa - You can go back to the Performance Centre at any point to build up skills - William Regal is in NXT - They're still limited on what they can tell us - You can be involved in Twitter wars - You can retire at any point - Apparently there's a big surprise at the end of the mode - Gameplay is much slower - Strategy is involved, ie wrestling the Big Show is much different to other, unique feel to every match - Every play through will be unique On what Bryse Yang had to say - Didn't give much away - The mode's fully customisable - You choose your allies & allies - You get attacked post match leading to rivalries - You can choose to listen to Vickie or go your own way - When asked on how long does it last he dodges & says you'll get dozens & dozens of hours out of it - When asked about new wrestler generation he says you'll wrestle against the superstars you know & some you don't - When asked on Injuries he didn't really answer - Aging has no effect The big thing for me was the wrestler generation question & I'm dissapointed he didn't straight up answer it. With the answer he gave it could mean either way, I'm really hoping they do generate as time passes, like I said a couple of weeks back it'll be lame if you're the only new superstar that generates & you're still wrestling the same wrestlers in 10 years time (if it even goes that far)

I could see them making a huge success with a Skylanders-style game for the younger generation, especially with Slam City already out there.
The more I hear about this, the more excited I get. I just wish we didn't have to wait until the 18th for MyCareer mode, plus I have to try and figure out the best way to format tat mode for my Youtube channel. I'm hoping we'll be able to add custom themes after the planned updates to both Next-gen systems but I've seen debates on how difficult/easy it would be for 2k to patch the feature in if they didn't put it in on original release.
I haven't seen anyone else really talk about it much but I'm curious what we'll see as far as Create-a-story scenes.
Edit - I also wonder if you go through a career mode with an initial CAW, then start a second if they'll throw your other CAW in as an opponent at some point. This would be especially interesting if you retired the first CAW but they brought him back later in the story of your new guy ala Rock or Lesnar.

Anything short of a cool HOF sequence, or mega unlockables, would be disappointing.

I have to say the more and more I hear about the game the better it sounds. Incredibly tempted to just bite the bullet and pre order it to get Sting.
That career mode sounds so much fun, it seems like they've actually made an effort with the game for the first time in years.

I don't want to be a downer, but for those considering if the pre-release is worth it, wait for the first week to go by, TONS of stores hold back pre-release copies with Sting/Hogan that get sold well after release day if you just ask for them.
Until you see the game has improved in gameplay and includes all CAW parts you want, wait for it, there's no need to pre-order the title if you're getting sucked into hype.
PLUS it'll save you a few dollars, if the game is great you'll be playing it one or two weeks later, AND given it's 2k games you need to give the game a week or four before the online service is good enough. As the game relies on virtual currency to update your CAWs and such there's no point in rushing the purchase. It will only lead to massive disappointment in the first few weeks.
