I tried to save her in GTA..but I ended up prostituting her instead. And then killing her and stealing the money she earned.

I've beaten:
Super Mario Bros Super Mario Bros 2 (American version; you don't save anyone per say, you just realise it was all Mario's dream) Mario Bros the Lost Worlds Mario Bros 3 (and the Advance version) Super Mario World Super Mario 64 Super Mario Sunshine the New Super Mario Bros (and got the 3rd star recently) ... yeah, I've beaten every mario platform game that I've played. I'm a loser, I know:-/

GTA sucks. I saved the princess thousands of times. Just thought I'd say that the princess in most of the Mario games is Princess "Peach" Toadstool while in the Super Mario Land series, it's Princess Daisy.

I could never get all 120 stars in Super Mario 64. Still bugs me to this day... Try the DS version. 150 stars! It's great fun! As Jugg/Hulk stated, there is more than just Peach. There is Peach, Daisy (the best ever in Mario Baseball!), Pauline (from Donkey Kong games), and one other whom is escaping me now. To Dean, I tried the Nintendo 64 Turok game, and was ultimatly pissed by it, mainly due to the poor controls and LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG levels (even knowing how to get to the end, it still takes you around 45 freaking minutes with only 1 or 2 save points!!!) And how could you mess up Dinosaurs with a FPS!?!?!? Then again, it was Acclaim... And BTW... it's "you're", not "your"

I could never beat the original Super Mario Bros. because I was totally oblivious to the fact that you had to take certain paths in the final castle in order to proceed. I would always run in a straight line, going nowhere. It felt like those old Warner Bros. and Hanna Barbara cartoons where characters are always running against the same background.

I beat 2, 3, World and 64, but never the first one. Haven't played Sunshine or Lugi's Mansion.
I used Game Genie to beat 2, though. I think it still took a whole night.

Super Mario RPG is one of the most underrated RPGs out there. The good thing with Mario is, as much as manufacturers are marketing their products to adults nowadays, all Mario games are fun, even though they're geared toward children.

We all did it. Played SuperMario on Nintendo growing up. But did you ever finish the game and save the princess? Multiple times. Because it keeps going and just gets more difficult each times, I did it three times in a row before it got ridiculously difficult.

The only Mario game I ever beat was Super Mario Land for Game Boy. My RPG of choice has always been the Zelda games, but I have been stuck on Ganondorf in the Wind Waker forever now. I know what you are supposed to do to beat him, but I just can't do it.

I concur, but then again it was made by square and no one does rpgs better so it was kind of a given that it would rock

Yes, many a time. It's a lot harder now. Maybe it's because I'm usually a lot drunker now than when I was a kid.

I'll 2nd that seeing as how I'm playing SMB2 on my GBA now.
