Just as I did it too! Curses. Fixed it by just adding the updated info in the OP. All is wavy gravy

Out of curiosity, did he decline it anywhere or did WWE just withdraw their offer? They probably withdrew the offer when it was made known that Michael Sam was actually going to be picked up by a team. Just shows that all they wanted was to leech the publicity and didn't really care what message was sent across.

It's true.
Earlier today, I posted Stephanie's invite in this thread. I just checked it again and the link redirects to a Raw results page.
WWE also mentioned Sam on its Facebook page; that post is gone as well.

All this was, and all it ever was going to be, was a ploy for ratings, and most likely some sort of boon for their already hypocritical B A Star program

Of course they took it down, he's probably going to be starting for the Cowboys in a few weeks. So of course he won't be on Raw, unless it's team and league approved. And he really doesn't need to come out and do some sort of "pipebomb" about the NFL now. And even if he did, it would look pretty bad for him to begin with. It's funny because you know the WWE braintrust think that's just what you do. They have no idea how life works outside their bubble.

It's hilarious to see them cover their ass on this.

Wonder if they'll edit out the invitation when this ep gets uploaded onto the network.

Thank goodness. WWE must REALLY be worried about Monday Night Football getting viewers over them.

I want Jerry Jones to show up instead and cut an incoherent "YEE HAW I'M RICH!" promo on Vince. Jerry's got at least 5 billion dollars; he could buy and sell Vince haha.

The fact that WWE tried a stunt like this in 2014 is just sad

Inviting Michael Sam was a terrible idea. Mentioning it there times was an even worse one. I have no clue what they wanted to happen here. At best a guy with zero acting ability cuts a slightly better promo then one of the Bella twins can that somehow involves a current feud. Most likely it would have been a train wreck with gooker award written all over it.

The fact that WWE tried a stunt like this in 2014 is just sad They tried to do this with Glenn Beck last year. Even freakin' Glenn Beck declined quickly, if I recall correctly.

Considering WWE had to be told knock off all the gay jokes a few years back, I'm not surprised ...
