I hate the idea that more touchdowns make for a better game. A 6-3 game will almost always be better than a 42-35 game, In fact it is very hard for a really high scoring game to be good.

The Chargers really deserved to lose this game.

Come on now I personally love a good defensive game but you at least want to see a touchdown in a game. And what would you rather watch the Jags and Raiders go 6-3 or Brady vs Peyton explode and go 38-41?

I just really hate the idea that more scoring is better and Chris Berman basically saying that upset me. Of course though seeing two good teams in a shootout is preferable than two bad teams who could not move the ball if no defense took the field.

I am gonna win my Fantasy Opener by a point.
It ain't pretty but it's a win, Palmer and Larry's connection all game is something to worry about going forward though...

It was a miracle I won this week in fantasy. I got 0 points from my defense (St. Louis) and 1 point from my #1 RB (Doug Martin). Antonio Gates saved me, and I had him on my bench until Sunday morning.

I won my first week fantasy game in spite of getting nothing from Cruz and Witten this week. I lucked out that my opponent took a gamble on Cam Newton and lost.
Think I'll bench Cruz for Steve Smith until the Giants offense learns how to play again.

I'd be happy if a Buffalo-based owner buys the Bills. It'd really suck to see them move to Toronto or really anywhere else. Toronto is not that far away you would need a passport but it would still be easy enough to see the games. It would be best if it stayed though. The only teams that should ever move are Oakland or Jacksonville. I seriously only want the Jaguars to go to LA for the highly apropos name and likely new Aztec-themed logo. Traditionally, the Rams and Raiders make the most sense, and I'd be fine with them packing up and moving.

I got monster points from Tate and Megatron, the only problem is my opponent had Stafford so it was canceled out. Dwayne Allen would be a hot pickup for those that need a tight end.

Keep Fitzgerald for one more week at least, he's guaranteed to have at least 2 touchdowns against my NY Midgets. Palmer will be made to look like Joe Namath, Johnny Unitas, and Joe Montana rolled into one.

So I guess it comes down to who do you believe: the National Football League or the New Jersey State Police?
The NFL this morning:
New Jersey State Police respond:
With seemingly each passing minute, the NFL is burying itself deeper in lies and misdirection. It's like an episode of "Boy Meets World" wherein Cory tells a little white lie to cover up for something, but the lies keep growing and growing to cover his tracks, and it spreads into something more grandiose that he can't handle.
