Taker has not performed the Deadman's dive since 2009. He did in 2011 as well against Triple H, with similarly disastrous results. Sim Snuka countered into a piledriver, Triple H countered into a shoulder powerslam.

When Warner Brothers shut down their animation department in 1964, they outsourced the Looney Tunes contract (until 1967) to the team of animators who were currently staffing it - Friz Freleng and David DePatie, who promptly set up their own animation company (DePatie-Freleng Enterprises). An executive at WB was able to lease them the same cartoon studio, complete with all the equipment and supplies, for a few dollars a year.

Polly Noonan was the first movie "character" whose name appeared in the closing credits before she appeared in the movie.
She played the little girl on the bus whom Mr. Rooney sat next to at the end of Ferris Bueller.

Mount Rushmore facts...
- The original site for the monument was the Needles, but they were too thin and eroded
- Jefferson's head was supposed to be on Washington's right side, but it cracked and they decided to sculpt it on the left side instead
- All four presidents were due to be carved down to their waists, but the money ran out
- Not a single worker died during construction

Okay, see one time Randy Beaman's mom was on the porch, and she felt a lick, and she thought it was the dog, but it wasn't, it was just this crazy guy who did that a lot.
Kay bye.

When he first arrived in California to pursue a music career, Meatloaf once picked up an unusual looking hitchhiker. Later on he found out that hitchhiker was Charles Manson.

A chemist, George de Havesy, fooled the Nazis with science.
Nazi Germany forbade those within their sphere of influence from accepting Nobel prizes, and would have confiscated the Nobel prizes of Max Von Laue and James Franck, two German physicists, and probably kept them as war plunder, given the sheer level of corruption within the ranks. Attempting to mail the prizes out of the country would also be illegal, as the export of gold was at the time, and likely result in prosecution.
Instead, in the Niels Bohr Institute, he dissolved their golden prizes in aqua regia, a powerful corrosive acid that is one of few acids capable of dissolving gold and platinum. From there, he just put the resulting mixture in bottles and stored it in the institute, among many other unremarkable bottles, trees hidden amongst a forest. The Nazis saw nothing of note in the institute and left the bottles be.
After the war, de Hevesy returned to find the bottles intact and extracted the gold from the aqua regia mixture, sent the gold to the Nobel Foundation and the medals were recast and presented to their rightful owners, preventing them from joining countless other property stolen by the Nazi regime.

Etymologies:
The word "nice" (as in, "S/he's so nice.") roughly meant "goofy" in Middle English. Over time the meaning changed to "whiny", then "demanding", then " meticulous", then "good", then, finally, "kind".
"Bully", as in the thing Ryback used to be, comes from a Dutch word meaning "lover", and then "gentleman". Over time it gained a sarcastic connotation, which is how it got its modern meaning.
"Mortgage" comes from Latin and naturally, it means "dead man's oath".
"Check", in chess terms, comes from the Arabic "shah" (king). Shah mat (or "checkmate") roughly means "the king is done for/ambushed".
"Mayday" is a bastardization of the French "venez m'aider" (come help me).
"Canary", the bird, is named for the Canary Islands, natch. The islands themselves are named for Latin "Canis", because besides the birds, explorers found huge dogs wandering around the isles.
"Vanilla" comes from the Latin word for "sheath." You may be slightly familiar with this archaic term: "vagina". ("Penis" was another word for "tail".)

Despite featuring his darkest material, Leonard Cohen's Songs of Love and Hate is his only album that features him smiling on the cover of it.

A woman who was diagnosed with a hitherto unknown condition had her life saved by breast implants; she is tge only recorded case of a person having a "wandering heart." Her heart literally moved around randomly in her rib cage, causing her great discomfort and potentially disrupting her vital functions. To keep her heart in its proper place surgeons used a pair of breast implants to effectively cage her heart in place, finally stopping it from moving about.

African bull elephants are truly huge creatures, and likely are heavier than T-Rexes were in life. T-Rexes are longer, however, and had perhaps the most powerful bite of any creature that has ever lived on Earth, where even a minimum estimate puts them leagues above the Megalodon, lions, hyenas, crocs, and more.
