These last two almost make up for how dumb the first episode was..
I hope they keep building on the same arc next week.

This is a great episode, but I have this feeling some people aren't gonna get the joke. Or at least the reference to Spin magazine I'll admit that I didn't get the joke. I know jack shit about Lorde, so if it concerns her, I guess that's why I didn't get it.

I got a feeling that this arc is going to build up to a sjw episode.

My only question was what is Randy saving the money for? Knowing the continuity lately, that might be explained later.

This is a great episode, but I have this feeling some people aren't gonna get the joke. I know next to nothing about Lorde, so explain away. But regardless of that, this episode was absolutely fascinating.

Holy lord(e)..... So an article about South Park inspired the very next episode of South Park. That is so meta that I now doubt my very existence.

Plus I don't think they've technically done an episode in response to media response from their last weeks episode before..... (I think there have been instances where they throw a line in or may've put in a side character as reference)

Anyone know what the music from that song is at the end of episode 2 this season? The one that's supposed to be by Lorde? Not a Lorde fan, but that song sounds like it has a good beat.
Edit: Just found that it was a parody of Lorde's song "Team." I looked up the real song and...it kind of sucks. The South Park beat is still good though. Between that and Cartman's Quest they really need to start releasing full length/extended versions of their original instrumentals.

Loved this last episode. I'm a sucker for toilet humor.

The funny thing is, i didn't realize SPIN was still a thing until this episode. hah! After reading that article linked in this thread it seems like its devolved into another huffpost/buzzfeed type thing but for music.

This is the best continuity the show has ever maintained. I really like it.
