I wished he jackknifed him. Nash, not the fattie.

I love how in that picture all the other fans are staring at him in disgust. I wonder how foolish he was acting during before he decided to jump the barricade.

That looks worked as hell. If Scott can work a stomp that good, he's better than anyone even gives him credit for. That was vicious. (Deserved, given you never know if someone's going to have a knife or something, and it's best to keep him down for security to get them, but vicious)

It's kind of amazing how in any other medium a fat drunk barging on stage and interacting with the performers can be a real show stopper but in wrestling it can add to it. I'd love to be in that guy's head the moment he realized "Hogan just betrayed WCW...I have to do something about this."

I think my fav "fan getting KTFO" moment was that idiot who pulled Eddie off a ladder. Running into a ring is one thing but that dude could have killed Eddie a lot earlier.

Usually, Scott Hall and fat drunk isn't a reference to two people.

When I saw the thread title, I thought Nash had attacked Scott Hall

Too bad he didn't hear Heenan's botched commentary, he would have been prepared for whose side Hogan was on.

Scott Hall is a real brave guy stamping on his head. Wrestlers tend (and I'm guessing on some level they are allowed) to get rough with fans running in the ring. Once a fan is over that barrier it's no mercy. If you don't want 250+lb men stomping on your head, stay in the immediate area of your seat in the crowd.

You know, I just watched this show FOR ONLY 9.99 and for all the talk of OH MAN HEENAN REALLY SPOILED IT, Mean Gene had segments early in the show where he was eavesdropping on them and kept talking about how eerily familiar the muffled voice sounded.
Then again, during the whole buildup on Nitros, Heenan talked about how he would cheer on Sting, Luger, and Savage despite his personal feelings for them. Guess he REALLY must have hated Hogan.

Don't jump in a wrestling I can't let this get no-sold. Is this a quote from something or just a typo? Either way "Don't jump in a wrestling" as a stand-alone sentence is making me laugh very hard right now. I can hear Steve Brule saying it.

I don't know if it was worked or not. I do know it's something that isn't unheard of to happen though. You never know how crazy a fan can be, if you take any chances or give them the benefit of the doubt... you end up with a Dimebag Darrel situation. Hell, Bobby Heenan almost got shot by a fan during a skirmish, according to his book.
The only thing that makes me think it was real is the hesitation the second the dude got in the ring. Nash looks like, "Seriously? You're doing this?" and he's like, "Seriously? I'm doing this?" and gets his ass handed to him. Really the only thing that supports this wasn't a shoot is because the camera stayed fixed on the ring.... although, WCW wasn't too adept in drawing attention away from unplanned events and besides that... it does play up the betrayal of Hogan, and with the NWO trying to be as close to blurring the lines between scripted and reality as possible.... it made sense in context.
Personally, thinking it was worked, is giving WCW too much credit... they hit everything exactly right for a long time, but to be able to hit the small details like a fan intrusion at the right moment just makes their future mistakes make even less sense.

The dude was lucky Savage was selling the beatdown. Whenever a fan jumped the rail he would go batshit crazy on them every time.

Doug Dellinger must have hooked someone up with some 100% pure Colombian blow, because that dude never bothered to stop anyone from invading the ring. How he kept his job is one of the great mysteries of our time.

There was a guy in my High School that looked like him and we constantly ragged on him for running in the ring.
