Foley put over Abyss as the new King Of Hardcore. In all fairness, Abyss SHOULD have become the new King of Hardcore. But things like being Hogan's sidekick and horrible booking in general killed him.

I get that he got mad when TNA didn't mentioned that he was featured in Jon Stewart's Rally and that over 250 000 people gave him an ovation, it showed that he was a big deal, and TNA didn't even mentioned it on the air, but they did mentioned Hogan's appearances. That being said, Foley shouldn't had buried the company when he said that TNA's house shows were like his empty arena matches he had with the rock. He even admits this on a blog he wrote.

He was no benefit for TNA in the slightest, but if you were a Foley fan it was perfectly fine. He was his usual entertaining self.

The only thing I remember of the run is him doing commentary with Tazz and Foley saying its nice not having someone yell into your ear the whole time.

Yeah, one of the reasons why Foley left the WWE was because of the commentary shtick and the fact that Vince McMahon is a micromanager when it comes to what the commentators can and cannot say. I haven't really looked back at his TNA run that much, but I do remember his Countdown to Lockdown book, which discussed his departure from WWE and joining TNA. Has he written a book about his TNA escapades?

I haven't really looked back at his TNA run that much, but I do remember his Countdown to Lockdown book, which discussed his departure from WWE and joining TNA. Has he written a book about his TNA escapades? Mmm I think he discussed it in a blog he used to write. Like he admits that although tna kinda dissed him by not showing him at the Jon Stewart rally, he had no right to bury the company on interviews, like he did one with Jeff Katz in which tna didn't looked so good, he also did an interview with Joey Styles on wwe.com, I think he also said once that it was ironic that the competitor plugged a book he wrote about tna treating him better than tna themselves. On the Katz interview he also buried the tna music department. On the blog foley apologizes for his mean tweets regarding the company, I think he even implies that tna was like a paid vacation, that he didn't need to work much and could use the universal studios rides without waiting in line. He says that he got along with Bischoff and Hogan, although I've always wondered why he never did something with Hulk, since they're both big names. The one thing I've always be grateful to Mick about is that he gave Bubba the love sponge two black eyes when he punched him.
