With the Saturday morning era comig to and end in one more day, I figured we found take a look back at some of the forgotten toons. We all remember Captain N or the Bugs and Tweety Show, but how about some of those overlooked shows that so rarely get their due?
I'll start the ball rolling with The Adventures of Calamity Jane. This show was part of tge Kids WB lineup one season. It has always stuck out in my memory for several reasons. For one, tge artwork was freaking gorgeous with some absolutely stunning scenery. It also had its own commercial bumps that featured a live actress dressed up as the title character. And it literally only lasted a couple of weeks-it literally just vanished inexplicably. A shame considering what looked to be pretty high production values.
Any others?

During the last years of CBS's saturday morning block there was a cartoon called Birdz.
Then there's one that's just better off forgotten altogether: Coconut Fred's Fruit Salad Island(has FSin done a tooncrap of this yet?).

Teacher's Pet. It was on OSM for about a year in 2000. Then it was on again and off again for another year and disappeared completly by early 2002. That show had some awesome art (50-early 60s inspired art) and had some relatively famous people as VOs. Nathan Lane was the voice of the dog, Debra Jo Rupp was the mother, Jerry Stiller had a recurring voice over roll, etc. What I liked the most was the writing. It was a really good show. It's a shame anyone hardly remembers it.

Not that it is that obscure, but who else actually watched Turbo Teen? Granted, I don't remember any of the plots for any of the episodes, but I did watch it. Unfortunately, it left the same impression on me as the Mister T cartoon.
While it was not a Saturday show, who watched Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors? I never did, but damn I loved those toys. Speaking of awesome toys that had a tie-in show, does anyone remember Robo Force?

This old show that attempted to let kids in on MTV culture: It's one of those shows built up even more by the fact that a proper DVD release is near impossible. Anyway, I'll see you this and raise you...WOLF ROCK TV. Barely anything exists online on that show! And someone mentioned Calamity Jane...while we are talking about short-lived Kids' WB shows, what about...Road Rovers? Rude Dog and the Dweebs?

I remember pretty much all of the shows mentioned except for Birdz or Wolf Rock TV. Bump in the night ABC ended up basically using the characters for their commercial Bumps for years after the show from what I vaguely remember Road Rovers was replayed on Cartoon Network around the same time that Freakazoid was. But I never really hear anyone talk about it, not that I remember very much about it. Hell it had a friggen theatrical release movie... that bombed from what I remember Man, this show use to be pretty big. This thread has me searching Youtube high and low trying to remember old shows that have been long forgotten. I still have the buffalo guy mixed in with my action figures... though I don't think I ever actually watched the show.

Anyone remember Filmore? It was like Kojak if it was done for kids.

I'll just put this here... I use to love this show. My mom was alright with it, but my grandma thought rap was bad for the kids. I wasn't allowed to watch it at her house.

Road Rovers was tragically overlooked. Which I always thought was odd, the concept almost begged for WB to give it a big-time merchandise push.

Exo Squad was vastly underrated and overlooked despite having one of the most mature plot lines you can get for an animated series aimed at children.

I remember Archie having 3-4 different cartoon series on Saturday mornings.
Most people know Smurfs or Snorks, but do you remember Trollkins?
There was also a couple of really non-PC cartoons out there (Rickety Rocket would never work today... then again, neither would Super Globetrotters)
