Well they said Korrasami was planned since Book 2, I call BS on that, Book 3 maybe but in Book 2 they barely interacted, I could totally see these two girls who barely talked were going to be an item.
Anyway when do you think enough time has passed to compare Legend Of Korra to Avatar: The Last Airbender? There are pros and cons to each series.

When all is said and done, I prefer Avatar: The Last Airbender. I prefer the structure of that series - one long storyline as opposed to four, (mostly) self-contained ones. And while Korra is a more interesting protagonist than Aang (not always as likable, but I couldn’t see Aang pulling off an episode like “Korra Alone”), I find the rest of Airbender’s cast to be stronger than Korra‘s. Not to mention, Airbender never had a season as weak as Korra’s second one turned out to be (the turnaround made between LOK Books 2 and 3 is really something). I ultimately enjoy both, though, and I think it’s all due for a big re-watch: from the first episode of AtLA to the last season of Korra.

honestly, I woulda liked not having it spoiled for me by my uncle (I don't have cable, have to wait for the DVD) but I like it. it actually makes all kinds of sense when you go back and re-watch things. very brave of Nickelodeon.

I agree with you though, Korra was very much more like Zuko than Aang in the sense that her character arc was spread throughout the entire series. In a way, the final result definitely puts even her at her most frustrating in Season 2 into an entirely new perspective. I will agree that Beginnings is the best episode of the series, arguably a contender for best of the franchise as a whole.

Is there any word on some sort of massive combi-box of Korra, or even Korra and The Last Airbender? I'm seeing nothing.
