Would have been interesting, but I'm almost convinced it would never have happened. Andre was fiercely protective of his gimmick and resented all the other "giants" - you'll notice that outside of, say Spoiler or Ernie Ladd, who - while absolutely among the giants - were never really gimmicked that way, Andre avoided most of the other giants in the business up until he was put into the Studd program (which he hated and resented Studd for). Andre may have had some athleticism early on, but by the time he became a bonafide star, he wasn't able to do what Show can even now after all these years. Would have avoided him like the plague, because that would be the end of his meal ticket.
Would it have drawn? Absolutely. But I'm not convinced Andre would ever do it.
