I was thinking the exact same thing. Every match seems the same as the one before it. And this has been going on for years. It seems like there's only one way to have an "awesome" match. You do a bunch of moves that the crowd knows are coming and pop for, and do a bunch of 2 counts where the wrestlers act SHOCKED that a move that never beats anyone failed to beat someone yet again. Everything's so tightly controlled, designed for the audience to pop at certain times. Really takes away from it feeling competitive, or spontaneous. It also leads to quiet crowds that are just waiting on the moves to happen. Some guys transcend that style because they're just that great of pro wrestlers, but overall it sucks the life out of things. There's a place for that kind of match, but it's like if you can't do that, you're not WWE material. I just want more different wrestling styles, and to see them clash sometimes, that's enough creativity for me. I'd like to see some tweeners too, not be so strict on heel/face stuff. I know newz said Vince said "there's no more heels or faces" but that's not what I'mseeing. I wonder how Vince ever won the 'war' when I hear things like that. Wresting at its core is totally about heel vs face. It's all about fan reaction. And the best reactions are always when the unexpected happens, not the same old same old. It's called 'excitement', something that WWE is sorely lacking these days. |

Have Stephanie get into a conflict with AJ. Stephanie wants AJ to be more corporate friendly, citing her father's efforts to do the same with Austin. AJ naturally refuses. In retaliation, Stephanie selects an up and coming Diva from NXT, to be her chosen corporate Diva to go after AJ. Ultimately, the corporate Diva turns on Stephanie and leaves her for dead, thus forcing Stephanie to face AJ alone. I just pictured AJ driving a zamboni after reading this. |

I'd make Bayley play the role of AJ's nerdier sister. They could even tag from time to time.
The female Wyatt should be given to an entirely new Diva. One who could convincingly play a redneck.
I think the time has also come for a female counterpart to Goldust and Stardust, and a female "monster" like Kane.

I notice in 6-man tag matches there's usually the "everyone hits moves on each other" spot in the middle of the matches. That could be changed up.

If we're talking about giving the NXT guys more exposure, perhaps the NXT Title match could be put onto one of the big 4 PPVs once or twice a year. It makes for a sense that being the NXT champion gets you exposure and whatnot.

Have the commentary team use the term "my man" when referring to the Superstars.
Example: "Earlier today I was talking to my man Jack Swagger and he told me he is absolutely jazzed to have another shot at Rusev"

A group of Divas who are a coven of witches. Able to cast spells and control people's minds to do their bidding. Steal whatever you can from Buffy, The Craft etc...They could also have their own guy playing a monster role when Kane retires. One who unquestionably obeys them

A Freddie Krueger type heel who overtly despises the children in the audience and makes it a point to target the people they support. Have it so that the cheers of children actively make him more aggressive. A perfect opponent for Cena.

Another old idea, but still workable.
A reimagined grunge darker version of Doink. Add a Harlequin counterpart, and you've got two good characters for a male and female wrestler to play.
