he is denying he has even talked to Russo on his twitter, but people are not falling for it. I think he got caught and now realizes no one wants Russo involved.

Ugh, I hope they don't try to work some idiotic secret TNA style deal.

Several great storylines going on - the triangle between Fenix, Mil Muertes and Catrina, Big Ryck vowing vengeance on The Crew, the problems between Son of Havoc and Ivelisse, Johnny Mundo's battles with King Cuerno, Pentagon Jr. breaking people's arms to please his "master", and Alberto El Patron coming to his new home, only to be jumped by his AAA rival, El Texano Jr. Not to mention all the stuff not featured this week, including Cage's quest for Prince Puma and Konnan, and Drago's series with Aero Star.

Last night might've been the best promo Alberto's ever cut. Someone in Stamford has gotta be watching this, wondering how the hell they dropped the ball that hard on him.

If the opening segment was in Spanish, it would be straight from a telenovela. Fenix almost busted his ass on the tightrope walk. Argenis vs Fenix was kinda botchy by lucha standards. Finally tighten up towards the end. Maxine is fine. She went from seducing Fenix to straight up wanting to f*** his brains out. Vampiro gets boners from watching lucha. Did not need to know that. Alberto got back the cars. Now to get back the scarfs and Ricardo. Coward Bastard? Dirty Ho? Sounds like a Friday night to me. Mil and Maxine got a weird sub/dom relationship. Attacking Chavo makes him a face to me. Big Ryck about to go Old Testament on his former bitch boys. He looks like a giant Slick Rick. He's now Slick Ryck. The lead singer of the mariachi band looks like Kay Faban of Wrestling Society X. Seriously, Ivelisse is the missing Bella sister. Look at her chin. Look at her ass. Mundo vs Havok was really fun. Havok is the Mikey Whipwreck of the company. Jose Cuerno is not that good of a hunter. Ricky Mandel probably have more success as a Model. Pentagon Jr's master is going to be Vince Russo. Bloodthirsty crowd as usual. Matt went full Marking out bro for Del Rio. Simmer down, champ. Amazing that getting fired from WWE is what finally made him a big deal quickly. Thanks, El Texano. Thanks.

Ok, good news and bad news time.
The good news is that El Rey are happy with Lucha Underground's ratings due to them now being on Dish also and bringing in more viewers.
The bad news is that some believe they should hire and bring in Ex WWE guys for recognition while others are against it due to not knowing or working the Lucha Libre style. Daivari was at and worked the last tapings and talks have been done with Victoria/Tara who has expressed interest in working with them.

So... Vince Russo once again, ready to ruin something.
Lucha Underground has it's flaws (man on woman violence, small outlet, lack of build-up to a supershow), but writers is not the problem. You bring in Russo, and the next thing you know, we'll be having Pole on a Pole Matches and, possibly, a masked man unmasking himself five times.

The guy thinks masked wrestlers who can't speak English can never get over with wrestling fans and that the American audience doesn't care for international talent, he was the guy that said 'If you want Lucha libra go to japan'. He's the antitheses of all that makes Lucha Underground unique, he'd do to LU what he did to WCW, turning an alternative into more of the same, driving off all but the loyalest fans and LU doesn't have an established fanbase so won't survive that.

I hope they don't try to bring in WWE guys who don't have a single clue what to do with the Lucha Libre style and try to make it more like WWE style.
If I want to watch WWE I'd watch WWE, if I want to watch WWE Lite, I'd watch TNA.

I don't think Lucha Underground not having to build to something is a bad thing. They are a TV show, not a wrestling promotion. A well-written consistently entertaining TV show can be appreciated for what it is. But, yeah. Just say no to Vinny Russo.

I've watched all the episodes and love this show. Please, for the love of everything that is righteous and holy, do not bring Vince Russo in.
Why does anyone in wrestling keep offering him jobs? The guy had one decent run as a writer that lasted 2 years and has sucked the life out of every show he's written since.
You think the man on women violence is bad now? Just you wait. Vince Russo will make it his own personal therapy for whatever bad breakup made him such a woman-hating jackass.

Well, you don't really need to build to any major event, since Lucha Underground is a TV show, but it would be pretty fun if the payoff is a two-hour "season finale", where all the major angles can conclude, and the show ends with a hook for the next season of Lucha Underground.

Like Bischoff, he knows how to speak to TV people and those with money and his ideas make sense but his execution is absolutely rank. He goes from A to B to 1296{}!ZQ@ because he still firmly believes he can recapture the magic of the attitude era with swerves and shocks when TV and the fanbase have moved on.

{Spoiler}Considering in the upcoming spoilers, Darin makes a mask vs mask match between Sexy Star vs Super Fly out of the blue; I would say he's already there

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Considering in the upcoming spoilers, Darin makes a mask vs mask match between Sexy Star vs Super Fly out of the blue; I would say he's already there {Spoiler}{Spoiler} Super Fly lost his mask a while back at Guerra de Titanes to Aero Star and revealed himself. Might be their way of doing it since he already had lost it.
Seriously though, if this is true, have they not listened to Chavo and Konnan at all who saw firsthand his treatment of Mexican Wrestlers in WCW and in TNA? The guy's pure scum.
