For those who mentioned Adam Sandler, while I understand some of his movies don't suit your tastes, I wouldn't go that far to avoid ANYTHING he does. I heard that movies like "Punch-Drunk Love" and "Spanglish" were good, and they were different than most of the movies he is usually in. He had nothing to do with the writing of those movies, nor does his production company have anything to do with them. He is also starring in a new movie coming out soon called "Men, Women and Children," which looks like a drama. So I wouldn't write him off.
Granted, I enjoy a lot of his movies and movies like "Billy Madison," "Happy Gilmore," "The Waterboy," etc. are movies that I enjoy, but it is not everyone's cup of tea, but don't act like just because he stars in a movie then it's likely to suck.

Pretty much any horror movie produced from the year 2000 until the day I die. At least watch Dog Soldiers(2002), it's pretty old school.

Any movie that stars Goldie Hawn's daughter. It's a never ending flood of shitty romantic comedies. Almost Famous is pretty good. And I could never have anything against someone named Kate Hudson (props to those that get the reference), You are an enthusiast of her. Well, you know what I mean. And yes, I agree that Almost Famous is a good movie.

-Hunger Games, Twilight, etc...and every movies they are trying to turn 90 pounds females into badasses.
-Romantic comedies.
-Sandler/Stiller.
-Haunted horror flicks. All this is just so wussy to me. It took me a long time to not watch any of them but after Halloween marathons, I was at loss of what they pick, I've tried Paranormal Activity, Insidious and The Conjuring and it was pretty average crap and I have zero interest to further watch this.
