Holy crap, that's amazing. It really looks like Vince was about to have a somewhat angry look before he nearly lets out a laugh.

At WrestleMania 8, Heenan is talking about how beautiful Sherri is.
Gorilla: You better go see your oculist. Heenan: Why? There's nothing wrong with my feet! Gorilla: I'm talking about your eyes.
a few moments later......
Heenan: I'm telling Michaels what you said about his feet.

Royal Rumble 1992 was classic When Flair drew #3 Gorilla tormented Heenan mercilessly, emphasising that Flair had no chance. Heenan reacted as though the world had literally ended. But he got the last laugh. The finest hour in Bobby Heenan's career. Literally. I wonder if he's ever gotten around to watching it. A few years ago during a Q&A with Jim Cornette at Fanfest, someone asked him if he had ever gone back and watched it, and he said that hadn't, but everyone kept telling him it was great, so he should.

He said in his book it was the only time in his career he left the match he was calling was totally real, which is why he got so into it.

Royal Rumble 92
Ric Flair hits Davey Boy Smith with a low blow.
Heenan : I would do that to my own grandmother! Monsoon : I'm sure you would

Mike mcguirk announces the undertaker, camera shows a couple of scared kids at ringside.
Monsoon: "look at the faces of those kids"
Heenan: "well they shouldn't be sitting so close to mike mcguirk!"

My favorite Bobby call was "The Iron Sheik wins it!" at the gimmick battle royal. As a kid, and to this day, Sheik was always a favorite. Some of the wrestlers in the battle royal hadn't wrestled for years, Bobby and Gene hadn't been in WCW for 8 years, it was like a childhood dream seeing the match and Sheik winning it was awesome. He didn't do much in the match, but Sheik never had to do a lot to get a reaction. Only thing that would've been better would be Sheik and Volkoff coming to the ring as a team but aside from Bushwhackers, there were no teams.
Bobby and Gorilla were together for years on Prime Time but I think, because of the availability of PPVS, they're mostly known for the PPVs. They were only together a few shows from 1991 thru 1993 but it speaks to how great they were that we remember them for those few shows.

They were a good duo I shall not deny But personally I actually preferred Monsoon/Ventura Gorilla Monsoon as a Commentator actually pissed me off alot. Especially when he would defend Hogan being a dick at the Rumble after being eliminated. However the one moment that pissed me off more than any, The 1992 Royal Rumble as the countdown for Entry Number 30 was happening 2 seconds before the buzzer "It's the Warlord!". Even now that pisses me off, even if I knew before hand, I like to keep it quiet before he comes out. But other than that the whole "Will you stop!" is always entertaining

Blame Vince for that. That whole Sid/Hogan feud was written badly. I still don't know why Sid is supposed to be the heel given that he eliminated Hogan fair and square in the every-man-for-himself Royal Rumble, and it was Hogan who showed bad sportsmanship.

But isn't that pretty much every broken friendship angle Hogan ever did in WWF? It always ends the same way, with Hogan's partner getting irritated over Hogan dominating the promo time, hogging the spotlight or touching his partner's wife's ass. Then when the guy gets irritated with Hogan it's like "What's his problem, brother?" Then Gorilla defends Hogan while Orndorff/Savage/Sid get painted as a jealous and out of line for not wanting to be Hogan's "Boy Wonder".

Yeah but Hogan and Sid weren't exactly friends, and even if they were, Hogan knows the rules of the Royal Rumble. There was no explanation for his actions after being eliminated. It got even worse when Jack Tunney named Hogan as the #1 contender. Sid said it was bullshit and that Tunney was favouring Hogan, and he was completely right.

Agree, I'm just saying that Hogan's partnerships always soured for the same reason. It's a strange phenomenon to me that creative would continuously play the same thing out over the course of many years, almost as if they wanted to see if the fans would eventually get sick of Hogan's crap. When Hogan and Sid were teaming up to face Flair and Taker on SNME, Hogan cut Sid off and wouldn't let him talk, just like he did to Andre and Orndorff years before. Yet, despite Hogan acting like a creep, he is portrayed as the victim when the other guy gets sick of him.

I'm surprised you expected anything less from "On the Take" Tunney

After the first match of Wrestlemania VII where Heenan was managing Haku/Barbarian with Hacksaw on guest commentary
Monsoon: "You know Hacksaw, after this match the Brain will be joining us on commentary"
Hacksaw (yelling): "Well Gorilla, if you say the Brain is heading this way, ole Hacksaw will be heading in the opposite direction"
lol

As far as I know it's the only commentary he ever did, but he was really good.
