All of the countless Batista vs. Edge matches never did much for me.
I actually remember really liking two Orton vs. Sheamus matches, the one at SummerSlam 2010 and one they had on SmackDown before Over the Limit 2012.

Rock and Undertaker was another pairing that didn't yield much of note, but they never quite got that big stage epic PPV encounter. Well, they did have a match for the WWF Title at King Of The Ring 1999, which is my favorite bad match. I realize bad matches are going to happen, but that's the way to do it: spectacularly. That match is kind of incredible in how it sucks from the word go. Start at, "Wait, why did Taker punch out the ref? Did he know that Rock Bottom was coming?" and a million more questions follow.

Edge and Jericho were very underwhelming when they faced each other.

I think I've only seen the Sakatoon title match and Bret's WCW debut at Souled Out, but Flair and Bret somehow didn't mesh as well as you'd have thought. Isn't that because they hated each other?

Orton and Cena. On paper they're two of the best of their generation but their matches have never been spectacular against eachother. I liked their Iron Man Match but everything else is like "I guess it was alright." at best. Yeah, most of their chemistry oddly is when they are "forced to tag" during various storylines, with them doing well there. Booker T is one of those guys who had really nice matches with a number of people, but if it didn't click with him, it would be a chore to watch him. Batista and Booker T had atrocious matches, when both men by all rights were capable of a lot more.

Yeah, within the first two minutes, you've got Undertaker punching out one ref, a Rock Bottom, Paul Bearer hitting another ref in the head with his shoe, and chloroform. After that, you've no choice but to enjoy the ride for as long as it lasts.

CM Punk and Elijah Burke had some of the shittiest matches I've ever seen back in '07. Oh my. That has to be the top of the list. I remember one match where the two of them were on completely different pages on what spot to do next and just fumbled around for a solid 5 minutes. I don't think Punk and Burke care for each other, though. I can remember one interview where Punk just buried the dude, saying he is one of the worst he's ever wrestled.

Really could not get into Triple H vs. Scott Steiner matches. Didn't think they worked well at all.

CM Punk and Elijah Burke had some of the shittiest matches I've ever seen back in '07. Wasn't that Punk trying to make Burke look like shit though? He was being a dick and would say "ow that hurt" in a deadpan sarcastic way after his moves. The most baffling one is Matt Hardy vs Jeff Hardy though. How can they be so bad against eachother?

Surprisingly, CM Punk vs Seth Rollins. They had the one televised singles match against each other and it was disappointing to say the least. Punk had much better matches against Reigns and Ambrose. Especially Ambrose.

Del Rio & Swagger had like a million matches in 2013 and all of them were just a big blur of awkward spots and bad selling. Del Rio and Swagger have awesome chemistry. Their WrestleMania match was ok for the lousy 10mins they were given. Their Extreme Rules match was annoying because the referee kept shoving the microphone down their throat every 8 seconds. They had a BEAUTIFUL straight up wrestling match on the 4/19/13 episode of Smackdown. That match was straight up about selling their respective injuries. Swagger with his arm and ADR with his ankle. Everything about that match was wonderful. The selling of injuries, crowd involvement, psychology even the ending. The very next week they had another great match, this time no dq. Hell ADR's very last match in wwe was with Swagger on main event and that was awesome. As far as the topic. I have to go "old school" and say Undertaker and Kane. I've never liked any of their one on one matches. Their WrestleMania XX? match was horrible.

Regal and Punk should of had classics that we would still be talking about today but their matches were just completely forgettable.

Really could not get into Triple H vs. Scott Steiner matches. Didn't think they worked well at all. Steiner had some injury at the time that severely hampered him for the majority (if not all) his WWE run.

Eddie and Benoit didn't go as well together as you'd expect. I've seen them have a fantastic match on Nitro but their match at Vengeance was only OK and their match at ONS was probably one of the worst matches in either men's catalog.

Steiner had some injury at the time that severely hampered him for the majority (if not all) his WWE run. I believe it was a very severe un-treated club foot issue or something very similar, he only got it completely fixed after leaving the WWE hence his AWFUL matches and instant push down the card in 2002 - 2004. Pins put in the ankle/needing bones to be filed/cut down had him in a cast for close to a year.

Undertaker and Austin is a great example. Those two had appalling chemistry. I think the closest I've ever seen to a good match from them was Summerslam 1998 and even that was pretty much uneventful and forgettable.

William Regal vs anyone who's quick.
Regal/RVD and Regal/Edge was shit. I found them impossible to enjoy and thought they made Regal look past his prime.

Aside from Mark Henry and arguably Kane (I personally enjoy this pairing, but it seems like a lot of people hate it), Big Show just plain doesn't work well against other big guys.
