I've read a lot of comments about how Ambrose is being "neutred", that he's no longer the twitchy, violent psychopath he once was.
The silly skits and the comedy, though? In WWE you need to be able to handle that shit as well as tear it up in the ring if you're going to be a legit main eventer. The Rock, Mankind, Austin, DX..all took part in silly face stuff that lets the average crowd member warm to you. Being just a foaming at the mouth psycho is all good, but it's never going to be main event at Wrestlemania. You need to be able to do some comedy stuff as well.
Unless you're the Undertaker, and how f***ing boring did he get?

Undertaker never got boring. Well, not for years after.
I agree with Ambrose, I think he's being treated as someone who's unpredictable. One second he'll use humour and something wacky and the next minute he's in your face, twitching like a nut and foaming at the mouth.

I can abide the comedy if they balance it by letting him legit cut one person's face off.

Being just a foaming at the mouth psycho is all good, but it's never going to be main event at Wrestlemania. You need to be able to do some comedy stuff as well. Unless you're the Undertaker, and how f***ing boring did he get? Couple of things. 1. Last time I checked, Bret Hart, Chris Benoit, and the Undertaker have all headlined Wrestlemania while being serious bad-asses. Hell, Daniel Bryan was goofy looking but he never really cracked jokes. He was focused on beating some Authority ass and getting the title he had been screwed out of time and time again. I get the point you are trying to make but that claim is straight-up false. 2. Regardless of whether or not you feel that these "comedy" skits with Ambrose are actually hurting his character in the long run, the segment last night was a complete failure and shows that WWE's need for all of their faces to be "funny" isn't always for the best. The hottest face in the company had to grab mannequin balls with tongs to DEAD SILENCE. I can't even think of a better definition of failure.

I don't mind the funnier stuff, they just need to be better thought out. Mannequin Molestation was pretty stupid honestly.

Threatening someone with power tools goes beyond unhinged face territory to me.

Dean in the ring with a bag of tools and a doll made me wish we had Hornswoggle vs El Torito instead

I feel like Dean can be funny, but when the Forums were saying that he should have a wacky prop gimmick like Carrot Top, THEY WERE JOKING.

His mannerisms make him come across as unhinged and crazy. But he never actually does anything that would really show that he is dangerous. Unless you count squirting mustard in someones face.
I mean I felt that Brian Pillman or Stone Cold with legitmately hammer me if I crossed them. I don't think Amrbrose comes across as that treatning. I never think to myself "Oh man, what will he do next?!".
It's not his fault though, it's the terrible writing and segments they put him in.

I can't be sure who is responsible for such skits or Ambrose's promos, could be the writers or Dean.
However I get the feeling that the seemingly off the cuff comments like the one he made about the cruiser-weight division coming after him are his own words, if so he should focus on more natural comedy like that.
That said nobody knowing what Ambrose will do next is theoretically good for Dean's character and the heels (and faces) that don't know how to handle him, plus it creates that "anything can happen" feeling.

No, he doesn't thave to do that to make in WWE. That's just the only way WWE knows how to write. They should stop.
He pulls it off to an extent but they're basically hanging him out to dry with some of this stuff, especially last night's "beat up the Seth Rollins dummy" hijinks.

It could be much, much worst. He could had used photoshop pics on the Titantron. The bigger question is why Ambrose carries around a Seth Rollins mannequin?

Remember when WWE did good comedy? Like The Rock in his prime, Kurt Angle, E&C, Austin. What happened to that?
I mean WWE still try to be funny and it's nearly always terrible! Just give up already!

WWE comedy always been hit and missed. The only time to they did it consistently good to great was when the former Martin Short Show writer was the head writer.

I got no problem with wacky Ambrose I liked the slime segment and I loved the whole hot dog stand thing from two weeks ago. But last nights segment was garbage from top to bottom until Foley showed up to actually sell the damn match like it should have been on the go home show. Foley wasn't needed if Ambrose didn't do that terrible dummy part of the segment.

Just think about this way, the more cringe-worthy his comedy gets the more evident it is that WWE strongly wants him on top.

The kind of comedy they're writing for the character they're having him portray is so incongruous that it isn't just "he's doing comedy," but more "this character would never do this kind of comedy."
The Rock's character always lent itself to buffonery and ott, childish humor.
Most of Austin's stuff was him dumping beer on someone or covertly stunning them while wearing a Santa out fit or something.
The comedy has to match the character. WWE is trying to force "WWE Comedy Style" onto this character rather than writing comedy for this character.

They had something going with the whole Ambrose popping out of random places and they stopped it cold after Cena was going to get his face crushed on cinder blocks.
