I didn't think St. Anger was that bad. However, I haven't listened to it in years. Also, there is no defending the lyrics, "My lifestyle determines my death style."

"The Next Day" by David Bowie -Easily Bowie's best work in a long time. People will still talk bad about saying he is washed up but that album is amazing. One of my top ten favorite albums of his. "Plastic Beach" by Gorillaz A lot of people compare this to the first two albums and dismiss it, which is easy for them because Demon Days was such a hit. But I find this album to have some of the strongest tracks that Gorillaz has made. Damon Albarn is amazing. "In Utero" by Nirvana Nevermind is actually my least favorite album by Nirvana. In Utero was so much better. And a lot of Tom Waits albums. I understand how it is hard for people to get into him but boy do I love him. No idea who hate In Utero. I never see it get trashed as a bad album unless it is is just by someone who generally doesn't like Nirvana. A lot of Nirvana fans actually prefer In Utero over Nevermind from what I've seen as it is a less polished while arguably more sophisticated production.

The Glorious Burden by Iced Earth. People really crap on anything on Iced Earth done by Ripper. He is not Barlow but the man did do a good job if you look at the album objectively. This....A THOUSAND TIMES THIS. A perfect album from the opening to the end....I've never understood why this and "Jugulator" get so much hate from the Iced Earth and Judas Priest fanbases. The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is that those are the initial albums after the departure of the popular singer (Barlow and Halford). Same can be said about Virtual XI and The X-Factor from Iron Maiden. Both are great albums (Virtual XI was the first Iron Maiden album I ever purchased), but were doomed from the start because it wasn't Bruce on vocals

Most of Miles Davis's 70s and 80's output (which is like anathema to jazz purists), American Idiot and 21th Century Breakdown, Human After All and HIStory (not all of its newer stuff works, but it might be MJ's most personal album).

I didn't think St. Anger was that bad. However, I haven't listened to it in years. Also, there is no defending the lyrics, "My lifestyle determines my death style." If you watch Some Kind Of Monster the band loses their shit over how awesome and clever they think that line is. But count me amongst those that think Load and St Anger are pretty decent. Load suffers from typical "double album syndrome" where if the best songs from Load and Reload had been combined it could have been just as classic as the first five albums. St. Anger IMO is a bunch of solid skeletons for songs that should have been better produced, had better lyrics in places, and been trimmed up in places. Neither album is the stinker they are made out to be though. I still hate Lulu though. Iced Honey is an okay song, but mostly just by comparison to the others being so awful.

Guns n' Roses - Chinese Democracy: when even Slash is like "that bucket guy wrote the best gnr solo of all time on that there was a time song" your doin good Axl! also musically that album is amazing just listen to the instrumentals its amazing music. I wish Axl had kept Brian May on Catcher in the Rye though the demo version sounds awesome with his guitar parts on it. only one song on it is actually written by Axl by himself and thats "This I Love" which had been around since the illusion days as he would play an instrumental of it during his piano solo's during that use your illusion tour. some songs have a newish sound, but theres a good chunk that would be right at home on the use your illusions stuff like 'Better' 'Catcher In The Rye' 'There Was A Time' 'IRS' 'This I Love' and 'Madagascar' I would see fitting in mega well with the classic songs.
The Misfits - Project 1950: I thought the album was a great idea, i dig how it sounds alot and if anything the really really cool chart of how punk spawned from the music of the 50's jerry did in the notes is really really cool.

I didn't like LuLu but I consider it an honorable failure because neither Lou Reed at his age or Metallica at their status had any reason to even try something like that. That's what annoys me with people when it comes to music is the way people shit on ambition and constantly refuse to unhitch their wagon from a band when they clearly ought to. Metallica are different people decades and millions of dollars later, what a shock? How about instead of sitting there waiting for them to churn out another Ride the Lightning you find another band and relax?
I like Creed's first couple of albums and while I know they can be seen as pretentious I find the flak they got was so over the top. Arms Wide Open is corny but that's not their only song, even just going by singles, My Own Prison is a fantastic song.
I love Gary Numan's catalog even through the tough times that even he himself denounces. Warriors, I, Assassin, Strange Charm, a lot of it is very 80s and could be seen as dated but it's still very melodic. He's an absolute legend.

C'mon man, everyone likes that one, even non-Juggalos. Okay, not EVERYONE, but it's probably the most popular Juggalo album. Okay, Axe Murder Boyz "Blood In Blood Out".

Saint Anger could have been decent, but the damn snare drum is something I can't listen to long enough to give it a real listen. Whoever thought that thing sounded good was an idiot.

Okay, Axe Murder Boyz "Blood In Blood Out". I thought Gods Hand was the much better AMB album. It certainly was, but their first release on Psychopathic got so much hate that it's ridiculous. I remember seeing a dude get ripped on so hard for wearing an AMB shirt at the Gathering of the Juggalos 2006, that I thought a fight was gonna break out. Juggalos were not receptive to those guys at all but I really liked them from day 1. I think there was a lot of jealousy over them winning the contest and getting the contract with Psy.
