Andromeda aka Cassandro aka the man too gay for TNA. I remember there were vignettes building up to this. I also heard a story on Russo putting the kibosh on this, which could be just an anti-Russo rumour. Anyone know the story on him? On wikipedia there were two linked articles talking about how he said he was released due to homophobia, one not really sourced properly, and one in spanish. So yeah, anyone know the story on him? |

According to Cassandro, his debut was cancelled due to change in creative and homophobia. Dusty Rhodes was a huge fan of his and the reason why came to TNA. But he lost his power and Cassandro was without any boosters. He spent a couple of months waiting for his debut but it never came so he basically quit. |

Andromeda aka Cassandro aka the man too gay for TNA. Awesome. My cousin is friends with him and I met him once at a get-together at her house. Nice dude. There's a story online about him that was written by the NY Times I believe. Details his early life and him getting into wrestling, as well as demons he's wrestled with. Don't remember the link, but it's worth a read. He's from the El Paso/Juarez area. |
