Weird as it is, Kevin Love being hurt has given the Cavs a new identity. Tristan Thompson is a beast. I think he's a better overall fit, Love's obviously more talented but the Cavs are loaded with shooters and have Kyrie and LeBron to create their own shot. They have better chemistry with a true power forward instead of a stretch 4. They could REALLY use Love right now with Kyrie banged up, but all things equal, I like their lineup better with Thompson in there.

That was a crappy call on Horford. It doesn't surprise me though.

Yeah, that was all intentional on Horford's part, there's no defending that.

That's worse than throwing a punch to me (especially considering that 100% of all NBA punches miss since the Kermit incident). The guy is completely defenseless, and the elbow connects. It was intentional, and you can't let Horford stay in the game after that.

I don't know if Horford gets suspended, but that was definitely Flagrant 2-worthy in spite of the TNT studio guys' objections.

Delladova has been finding himself in some sticky situations this postseason

Delladova has been finding himself in some sticky situations this postseason Yeah, while I believe that it was the right call on Horford, Dellavedova is rightfully getting the reputation of being a dirty player. It it was just a one time thing with him going low on a player, it could be ignored. He's done it multiple times now and could end up seriously injuring someone. So while I think it was the right call on Horford, I can understand his frustration. The league needs to do something about Dellavedova going low on people or something bad is going to happen.

I don't even think he's a dirty player. THe Gibson play was somewhat dirty, but Korver and Horford IMO were both just freak plays that the same guy had to dealw ith.

Draymond Green said seeing Houston's fans leave early during a blowout is "the best feeling in the world."

The NBA determined that it won't move up the NBA Finals and it will start on June 4, as expected.
The Bulls seem determined to let all three open coaching jobs get filled and then let coach Tom Thibodeau go.

Steph doesn't have a concussion (that we know of), but that fall was scary as hell. Yikes

For his own personal well being and for the sake of worthwhile basketball, let's hope Stephen Curry is alright.
If he's injured for an extended period of time, it just continues the Cleveland Cavaliers' ridiculously easy cruise to a banner. Seriously, has any team ever had more of a cupcake, gift-wrapped ticket to the NBA Finals? The Cavs squared off with the not-ready-for-primetime Celtics, then a Bulls team that played without Pau Gasol for two games, followed by a Hawks team that lost Kyle Korver and is playing with DeMarre Carroll clearly not at 100 percent.
EDIT - And just like that, Curry has been cleared to play and is back on the floor for Golden State.

THat same argument could be made for Golden State as they keep getting injury ridden teams while they themselves are the only ones left that has avoided the injury bug.

You can only play who's in front of you. It's not the Spurs fault Ibaka got hurt last year.

Warriors need to close it out next game. If the Rockets steal one the pressure starts rising real quick.
Wondering if Curry might be more hurt than initially thought. Hope not though.
