Maybe I missed a story about it but I've noticed teams playing in what are more short-sleeved t-shirts than the usual sleeveless jerseys. Is there a reason for this or is it just specific teams are adopting it? From what I remember reading, the biggest reason is money, for a couple of reasons. First, the NBA thought that some fans are uncomfortable wearing regular jerseys because unlike every other major sports jersey, they don't have sleeves (these same people must have not heard of undershirts). Second, it gives them more specialized jerseys to sell to make even more money. As far as teams go, I believe the Warriors were the first ones to wear them a couple of years ago. From what I remember, only the big name teams have ever really worn them (Lakers, Heat, Knicks, etc.). At most, only half the teams actually have sleeved jerseys, and only wear them occasionally. In addition, it's not just an NBA thing. A few NCAA teams also had sleeved jerseys last year, those being UCLA, Baylor, and Louisville, but again, they weren't used that often. What makes it interesting is that the players absolutely hate the sleeved jerseys. It's been almost unanimous. And it's not obscure no-names, it's some of the most popular players in the NBA. LeBron James has said that he's not a fan of the uniform style and said that he felt the sleeves affected his shooting motion, saying, "Every time I shoot it feels like it’s just pulling right up underneath my arm. I already don’t have much room for error on my jump shot. It’s definitely not a good thing." Dirk Nowitzki has called them "awful". These are big-name superstar players who are speaking out against the sleeved jerseys, yet the NBA continues to press ahead in making the style almost an alternate for each team in the league.

I'm really surprised to see that they're still around considering how many high-profile players, including the biggest star in the league, hate them.

Portland blows out the cavs by 19 If this keeps up, how much heat would Lebron get if he goes team shopping again after his contract runs out?

I don't think he'd be able to live it down though if he walks out again.

His body language looks awful already Lebron himself said he knows it'll be a journey and that success isn't going to happen overnight. I think he'll stay and once they get used to each other, they'll make a serious run and possibly win it all. Maybe.

WILL THE CAVS EVEN MAKE THE PLAYOFFS?! The Heat didn't get off to a great start either after LeBron joined the team. Remember the 9-8 start and LeBron bumping into Coach Spo?

As much as I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt for this season, part of me wants the Cavaliers to go something like 40-42 and get swept in the Eastern Conference quarterfinals, and then LeBron declines his option for year two and flees to the next sure thing next summer. Admittedly, I kind of want it to happen so he can recapture that egomaniacal supervillain panache he had back in the 2010-11 season. We need a collective villain to root against, and he played that role so perfectly that year.

After that Heel LeBron 2010-11 run... we've not had a good basketball villain. Closest we've had- maybe Dwight?

Keeping Kyle Lowry seems like it's a good idea. Raptors came back to stun the Celtics 110-107. 4-1 now on the season.

I love sleeveless jerseys. No other sport has a jersey like them. They're fun as hell to rock in the summer, especially to music festivals or theme parks or whatever, and they can go with a shirt for warmer weather.

The Kings might be on our way to a 4-1 start! We're up 68-54 at home against Denver.
DeMarcus Cousins is flat out the BEST big man in the league. You can't guard his ass.

Cavs fall to 1-3. Sky be falling. (And if not for a ticky-tack continuation rule, they could be 0-4)
Dwight Lakers 2.0! David Blatt is the new Mike Brown!

They're all iso and high pick & roll right now, which will change over time, just like it did in Miami. Spo wasn't able to implement a legit offense for that team until year 2, and it'll likely be the same thing this time around. Blatt will be fine.

You know what Cleveland reminds me of? If the Seven Seconds or Less Suns were led by a selfish, ball-hoggy Steve Nash
