I don't care how good is glove is. Words can't express how much I find Juan Lagares unspectacular.

Really hoping to get some good news on the Carrasco injury. Not going to lie, growing up with a father who was an Indians fan in the 50's, I get some major Herb Score twitches watching the video. Hit lower in the face (Score took it right under the eye, but damn it, my guys have a tragic history when it comes to pitchers. Score, and the tragedy of spring training '93 to name a few.

Mets get the win, but Wright hurt his hamstring. I hope it's nothing serious.

I don't care how good is glove is. Words can't express how much I find Juan Lagares unspectacular. He's literally one of the most valuable outfielders in the entire game. As long as he finishes this year with just a league average hitting stat line, he's a +4 WAR player. Mets/Phils play one of the most demented games I have ever seen. But it ends with David Wright getting hurt. Bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad news. </insert Barrett joke here>

Terry also said they'd hear what the doctors have to say, so I'm sure he doesn't know the extent of the problem yet; it's just that any injury to Wright is a major problem.
If they call up Campbell/Muno, then it's probably just a 15 day DL stint. If Dilson Herrera comes up, then it's worse than that.

David Wright confirmed for 15 day DL stint. Still shitty for the Mets during a time of the year when they're playing a ton of divisional games, but it's good to see him not do what he usually does in these situations, tough it out and attempt to play through the pain. Dude's 32 now, better to take two weeks off now than aggravate it again in three days and be out a month and a half.
I'm just peeved that the Marlins are coming in to Queens tomorrow JUST as their bats are beginning to wake up. Glad the Mets will be throwing Colon, deGrom, and Harvey in that series (Gee has game one), and ESPECIALLY glad that I have tickets on Sunday when Harvey's throwing.
I do love that Harvey looked human last night, and he still managed 8 K's in six innings, and zero walks.

The Giants are a very awful baseball team.
Sabean made a very unwise choice not signing or acquiring any power at all following Pablo and Morse's departures.
