Grilli's been doing fine...up until now anyway.

This game went off the rails innings ago when the Braves let the Nats back in the game. This was bound to happen. That it's Dan Uggla with 5 RBIs and the go-ahead homer is just too perfect.

Can only laugh.

The Atlanta Braves are just a massive dumpster fire that has been years in the making. Bad contracts plus a f***ing terrible manager has doomed the team for years and years to come. And let's not even mention that awful stadium move.

If they're honestly rebuilding like they claim, Fredi Gonzalez needs to be fired tonight. He's a piss poor manager than is only there because Bobby Cox still has his old ass in the middle of the team. Get rid of them both permanently.

Sorry. This awful game/season has induced a rant.

Like I said before, Teheran has lost whatever he once had. Why he was left in the game to make this close is beyond me. Yes, I know the bullpen is garbage, but Teheran isn't much better this season.

Jose Altuve keeps hitting and the Houston Astros keep winning.

Altuve had three hits, including a walk-off single in the 10th, to power the Astros to their seventh straight win with a 3-2 victory over the division rival Seattle Mariners on Thursday at Minute Maid Park.

The Astros, fresh off a sweep of the San Diego Padres, have now won 11 of 12 games and share the best record (15-7) in the American League after one month of play. It's a stunning turnaround for a team that was already 10 games under .500 at this point last season and didn't win its 15th game until May 17.

A.J. Hinch, in his first year as the Astros' manager, said he couldn't have asked for a better start to the season, one that has included an MLB-best 10 wins on the road.

"At home, couldn't have scripted it any better," Hinch said after the extra-inning win.

Altuve, meanwhile, stayed red-hot Thursday with his eighth straight multi-hit game, leaving him one shy of tying the franchise record. Last year's batting champ went 3-for-5 with a steal to extend his AL lead in both hits (36) and stolen bases (9).
