What age did you start to noticing you were losing your hair or growing grey? Because I'm not going to lie it's bit upsetting discovering couple of grey hairs in my stubble two days after turning 24 and since I grew it into a beard, there is a bit grey forming around it. Like Jesus why did it have to be two days after my birthday. Just another stern reminder you're getting old LOLZ and you're getting closer to death!!!!

I've had grey hairs sprinkled in my facial hair since I was in high school. I'd say age 17-18, to be exact.

Everybody is different man. Me it was late 20s for grey and the hair started going a bit in my early 30s. Really haven't lost that much of it just lost some hairline but the hair when I let it grow in is pretty grey now. Like flip your couple grey hairs to my couple brown hairs.

I am 27, and while not greying, I've noticed I've lost hair since probably like 25, but it's been pretty gradual and not major. I will probably end up shaving it off, just since I don't really like the idea of the air touching my scalp unevenly. That seems like it'd be a really gross feeling.

I am 29 now and think I first noticed my hairline receding at 21 or 22. Nothing major, just made me think I was looking more like my dad which gave me pause.

I want to cry... I got my 1st grey hair when i was about 15, which is better than my sister who was about 12. But then i started to get the monkey ass on my head in my early 20's. the sad thing is nobody else in my family has ever gone bald so early. I'm just grateful my daughter has her mom's hair.

My hairline pulled back when I was 17/18, but in a "ah that's fine" way.
Then I got to 23/24 and I started getting mixes of blonde & grey & ginger-ish hairs in my facial hair, started noticing it in my proper hair when my temple areas went blondegrey. I started losing spots of hair around that point (which happens to everyone in my family apparently) too and recently cut off all of my hair as I disliked the notion of styling my hair to hide it or anything, as that plus receding hairline and blonde temple area = ha, no. I chalk half of it up to family stuff, and half of it to being a stressful fool before I turned 23 and cooled my personality down.
Plus it's nice to go for a run without having sweat running down my hair.
But yeah, s'no biggie.

I think I noticed a slight receding in my hairline at 28 (I'm 30 now). My family doesn't exactly bald quick but I've been cutting my hair low ever since as a precaution.

Had a buzzcut my whole life (except when I was a 3 or 4 and had a sweet mullet) and noticed it did grow back quickly in areas at age 17. I describe my hair as having the horseshoe with the island because my hair behind the island got thinner and thinner to the point I just shaved it with a razor at age 21. I'm 27 and I don't think it'd grow at all up there now.

I had my first grey hair around 16 or 17, and by the time I was 25 the hair on the sides had mostly gone grey. Now it's about 60% overall (and I'm 32).
My beard is about half grey, aside from the mustache area which hasn't turned yet.

My hairline started getting noticeably thinner around 26-27. Now I'm 30 and its getting to the point where I have to keep it short, or start shaving before I start resembling Arn Anderson.

I started noticing patches of pure white in my beard earlier this year (I'll be 33 next month). Could have been there longer, but up until that point I'd rarely grow more than stubble.
My hairline is unchanged from when I was 17 though. Thick hair runs in my family, so I could potentially rock the Gandalf look when I'm old.

Started earlier in the year for me, and I'm 25. Probably going to end up with a bit of a Reed Richards thing happening before too long.

I'm 22 and have no grey hairs and a full head of hair. My Mum started going grey in her 30's and my Dad is in his mid 50's but his hair only started thinning and going grey over the last few years or so. Only time will tell what happens to me.

Even in high school everytime I would take a shower I'd find hair that would fall out. It wasn't until after college (22 to 23ish) that it really started to become noticeable. Last October, my nephew was diagnosed with cancer, and I shaved my head in December in support and will likely never grow it out again. Just so much easier with a shaved head.

I have naturally curly hair that never falls down, it just grew out in all directions. When I was in college I would go months between haircuts and just kinda grow a small afro. When I was out of college in my mid-20's the top started to grow a lot slower then the sides, so if I would go a long period of time without a haircut I would start looking like Dr. Wily. Finally when I was 26-27 I just started to shave my head.

I'll freely admit that going bald is one of my biggest fears in life. Mainly due to the fact that I shaved my head once and discovered what a grotesque, misshapen head I really have. My dad and all of his brothers are bald, but my mom's side of the family all have full heads of hair. I look like my mom, so I'm hoping that's some sort of sign that I'm going to take after her side of the family.
