Was the show any good? I turned it on and fell asleep in literally 6 minutes. No. The Spud/ECIII/Tyrus/Borash stuff was good and worth finding, IMO, but the rest was absolute garbage. Hold on. Gale / Havok was absolute garbage? Roode / MVP was absolute garbage? Granted you don't seem to like much about TNA, and they weren't MOTY candidates, but in no universe were those matches "absolute garbage". Lots to enjoy on this show I thought. It's just a shame the production and pre-taping give everything such an air of near-death.

Gail/Havok was absolutely horribly booked garbage featuring one of the most overrated women in history getting far more than she should have when selling being broken and battered against some who is supposed to be a monster. Pathetic all around and made absolutely no sense. They have absolutely killed Havok dead in the two months or so she has been there. Roode/MVP was crap. It was slow and had no heat whatsoever. When you can hear a fly in the third row fart in the middle of a main event title match, you got a bad match or bad booking, and I don't think it is the booking for once.

Fact is that TNA have never known how to book a monster. The only success that they had with monsters was Awesome Kong and the people who booked the Knockouts division back then are long gone. And Havok is no Awesome Kong in terms of talent or being menacing.

We'll have to agree to disagree. The story of Havok / Gail was pretty clear: The babyface overcoming the odds. As Gale came back it had me guessing as to the outcome. It had some convincing nearfalls. That's a decent match in my book. Roode / MVP had some great spots and a nice clean finish. What you call "slow" I call storytelling. The crowd actually lifted themselves for it, although for the show overall I agree the crowd were bad. That's been TNA's biggest problem for years now: Attracting a big enough, vocal enough crowd to put their shows in the best possible light. The actual in-ring product has been very good post-Slammiversary, but outside New York the crowds have been as bad as ever.
