So, does this prove the theory that Oregon's injuries had more to do with the loss in the first game to Arizona than anything else? I think so, Arizona is a good team, but those injuries sank Oregon in that game. Since they've gotten their Offensive Line back, they've ran over anyone in their path. I've been saying it for awhile, I think they're the best team in college football.

Neither Minnesota nor Nebraska sold 4,000 bowl tickets last year but i can't imagine them leaving Nebraska or Minnesota out though. Illinois is probably the weakest of the bowl eligible teams but with a bowl game in Detroit it'd make sense for them to go there. Same with Penn State and the NYC bowl game. If anyone's left out, all signs point to Rutgers. Illinois fans are pissed that Beckman get extended and, for the most part, are apathetic about a bowl game. I wouldn't be surprised if it is them. Beckman had a horrible start so they had nowhere to go but up. Still, hiring Cubit at OC was a great move and Illinois has improved each of the past two seasons. Have to see if he can keep improving and giving him an extension looks good for recruits. I'd think they'd be a little happy after beating NW. In terms of merit Rutgers should get the spot since they had the better record.

Oregon should be #1 seed IMO. They've dominated like no other team for the past two months and now that they have a healthy line they killed zona.

So I've read that Brian Griese is claiming to be close to the Michigan coaching search and it will be a long and deliberate process, Colin Cowherd is claiming to be close to some major college agents and they are telling him there is a huge, shocking name that will emerge this weekend as the front runner for the Michigan job if not getting the job and that Brady Hoke is going to CSU. Ugh. It's possible that he he wouldn't be or wasn't interested but if I'm CSU I'd take Bo over Hoke any day. He did a better job in his first stint as a HC than Hoke did in his third.

If there's a team that's located near the bowl site, that bowl will most likely pick up the 6-6 closer team over the 7-5/8-4 better team.

Why is the MAC Championship played at Ford Field? The place is so big and the amount of fans that go to it isn't that many, so it make it seems like they're playing in an empty stadium.

They did the MAC championship at Ford Field? I know they didn't expect to draw 20k for that one, so the rent must have been cheap otherwise the conference loses money.

The MAC Championship game is always held at Ford Field. The conference has a pretty good fan base.

While they were happy Illinois beat Northwestern, the happiness was less than usual since they knew that meant Beckman was staying another year. Their attendance has been ATROCIOUS and people just don't care for the most part. I'll be very interested to see how Season Ticket sales go for next year. If they have a bad start (or look awful in beating the little sisters of the poor), fans are going to want Beckman's head again. I don't think that is lost on recruits, to be honest.

SMU will NOT finish winless, as they come back from a 20-6 deficit to upset UConn.

Bedlam has been rather good so far. A nice back and forth battle. Whoever can get ahead by two scores will probably win this at the rate it is going.
That being said, Mason Rudolph? So far he's looking like he's the real deal.

14-0 in the 2nd for Bama with about 8 left on the clock. Doesn't seem like chaos is in the cards, but there's still another half of football to be played.

We got a game in Norman again! OK State cuts the lead to 28-21 early in the 4th. Gonna be an interesting finish as OU doesn't have Perine for the rest of the game.
