I was at RAW and Smackdown in Liverpool this week, all shirts were £25 except Rey Mysterio and Daniel Bryan.
Rey Mysterio's were £15, Daniel Bryan? Both the newer burgundy YES and the grey one from Wrestlemania time: £10.
I'm no conspiracy theorist (black helicopters Maggle!) but it is a worrying sign.

He has not been on TV for months I think a slowdown in shirt sales necessitating a sale is just expected.

Looking at WWEShop, the classic YES shirt is still full price, so it could just be a slow down in shirt sales for all but the classic. The guy had his last match over 7 months ago, may be out until SummerSlam, and it's getting close to Christmas (so there are Bryan shirts cheap for Bryan fans), so WWE has to drop the price to move them.

They have a lot of recent stuff on clearance on the site. Most of the past few Cena shirts included.

The shirt has been out for months and Bryan's off TV.
This doesn't even qualify as news.

Maybe they're getting rid of old stock in preparation for getting him new merch when he returns?

Not a surprise really, A few years ago they did the same with Kofi Kingston shirts.

Maybe they're getting rid of old stock in preparation for getting him new merch when he returns? And not just his, with Christmas around the corner there'll be a huge merchandise blitz. Maybe the discounted shirts at the arena were so that it wasn't stock they'd have to fly back to the states? I'm not sure.

Maybe they're not selling as well, as one would expect Mysterio and Bryan ones to, and they brought more of them than others, so they've put them at a reduced price on the last stop of the tour so they don't have to lug 'em back?

I was surprised they were even selling DB T-shirts at all, considering how long he's been away. You know, out of sight, out of mind. I actually took it as promising that they were selling them.

May as well get rid of them, because if he comes back, they can introduce a whole new line of his t-shirts.

Conspiracy? Maybe.
Real reason? So cheapskates like myself can support their favourite wrestler at less than full price. And it's in Britain, so it's not exactly a rarity to find cheapskates (myself one of them).

Offloading backstock at a sale price isn't an uncommon thing and none of you should be acting like it's something special.
